‘Pathaan’ is Shah Rukh Khan’s first release after he decided to take a break from acting in films. This happened after the box office failure of ‘Zero’. Once he decided he wanted to be back, he signed three films. ‘Pathaan’ is one of them and on the occasion of his birthday today, YRF released the much-awaited teaser of the film. Here, take a look if you haven’t already:

Teasers are supposed to be enticing but this is just…Meh!
SRK is making his comeback and yet all they had to show was his face on stunt doubles + horrible VFX behind him.
Also, this looks like the director’s previous film ‘War’ which was a brainless film anyway. Siddharth Anand always focuses on gloss, making things look good and stylish instead of having an interesting storyline in his films. He’s like the KJo-version of action films, if that makes any sense.
Obviously, everyone is going to lap this up…’cause it’s SRK and he and his family has been through a lot publicly at this very time last year.
YRF has had a bad run lately. Wonder who is really running things over there? How can they go wrong on so many big budget films and on top of that, a sequel to one of their much-loved film?
For this reason, it’s hard to say ‘Pathaan’ will work. Yeah, SRK fans will get nostalgic, but other than that let’s just wait till the trailer releases.
But hey, at least Deepika Padukone looks hot! Literally, the only spark in the whole teaser. SRK is with his same style of acting, nothing new while John Abraham…well, what to say? Just remember to not go to the bathroom if you go watch this film.
For a man who thinks he is doing such a good job, his choice of acting roles has been ridiculous lately. It’s like he’s just doing it for the money!
Bet they will make the promotions of this film be all about SRK’s body and his comeback!
Speaking of money, ‘Pathaan’ budget is humongous!
Maybe this film will do for SRK what Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vikram’ did for him. Even though in most of his scenes, it was his stunt double, Kamal finally hit a jackpot with his much-awaited comeback film.
Maybe…just maybe, this will do the hit that SRK and YRF has been searching for!

Deepika looks hot but her face is showing signs of aging. She lost collagen. She’s only 36. I dint get it y people think she looks great. She looked better in race 2.
With OTT releases happening, i think its generally gonna be tough to get people to flock to theaters.. and Pathan may be good, but unless the film has something that can only be enjoyed on the big screen, people wont be convinced to go, they will wait it out for OTT
