Priyanka Chopra introduces her new show on YouTube

It was reported before or as Priyanka Chopra got married that she will soon be launching her own talk show on YouTube. Maybe it was before her marriage because we remember someone mentioned how she has this plan to do it all and be like the next Oprah or something.

So, they already shot the show and it will make its debut on YouTube on March 207 on PC’s official channel. the show is called: If I Could Tell You Just One Thing. And no, it’s not the thing you think PC wants to tell you.

Check out the trailer of If I Could Tell You Just One Thing by Priyanka Chopra:

From the looks of it, it is like an interview/chatting kind of show. There are so many of that right now so the challenge will be to make it different from the others.

For now, she is doing the show over in the U.S. interviewing people over there. Hopefully, she will come to India and introduce some great women and girls doing amazing work to the world. Give them some publicity.

Are you looking forward to this?

    1. I cringe Everytime I see PC trying so hard to stay relevant in HW. Better a queen in BW than a nobody in HW. Unless she burnt all her bridges in bw and just trying to fit in somewhere. I saw a boy like Jake and her role was completely irrelevant and she was intolerable in the few scenes she was in. Even worse was Isn’t it romantic. Her photos from the movie were so much publicized only for her to have her play an irrelevant and non relatable character named Isabella (even though she clearly looks and sounds Indian).

    2. Priyanka Chopra’s career is in fact a classic case of someone still struggling to find a foothold. She got a lot of media coverage during her ongoing TV show (channel sponsored) especially at the Golden Globes/met gala/Oscar red carpet. The show got cancelled and she was nowhere in sight the following award seasons. Her HW movie career is almost non-existent. In fact, her recent 15-min appearance in a C-grade Netflix movie is the real picture of where she stands in HW.
Her PR-arranged relationship/wedding and the music video byproducts are what is keeping her in the limelight. Her PR Is good, no great, have to admit. They are working overtime with the media coverage, the talk show appearances at Kimmel etc. But that does not a career make. Now she has decided to become a talk show host. Good for her! As the admin said, there are so many out there that hers need to really stand out to make a difference! Most of her audiences are Indians (and people from the subcontinent) so she needs to keep that in mind while choosing guests. The first few episodes will tell if it’ll work or not. The trailer did not indicate anything special to me, other than the fact that Priyanka cannot help but be the actress, even while she is the hosting. It gets exhausting after a while. If she can manage a successful season, her PR might manage an award or two to get her career back on track.
Her recent KRK appearance and mentions of talks with the BW directors are indicative that she’s still testing the waters, and needs to make a comeback at BW. I find it interesting that while Nick Jonas and gang are all over the media publicizing their new single release, PC is in India talking to directors. Must be something really important to miss out on that limelight with her husband.

      1. Yeah that’s fair, but it is hard for an established actor who is in their mid thirties to find their space and start from ground zero in Hollywood. She has done well for herself. It’s different if you’re coming from nowhere and you can do bit roles and work your way up but the way it is for Indians if she had done like small time parts in indie flicks they would say arrey she went all the way there for this? So there are many things I’m sure she never did and can only accept things of a certain scale which makes it hard. I don’t think she’s necessarily “becoming” a talk show host but it seems like she does a few short things at a time (like the Bazaar series). Hopefully this is one of those. Her influence is quite big, but she will have to get her roles carefully to break into mainstream even more. True her talks about meeting with BW directors I personally found bizarre. She must have felt really insecure to just let that out on the couch for no reason she wasn’t even asked. That was super unprofessional and just weird. I didn’t really like her appearance on KWK this time around.

        1. Nobody is disagreeing with how tough the fight is for a not-so-young, brown/foreign girl to establish herself in HW. But, the question is, why so desperate? Especially for a humongous South-Asian superstar having billions of fans?
PC’s career track in HW has been very messy, and she is still riding on the PR boat. 10-min roles in B/C grade movies, a stunt relationship with a boy-bander, a quickie wedding, huge ceremonies for the media hoopla, low-rent music videos, showing faces in talk shows may indicate “doing well” for an average, unknown actress, but not for a person of her stature with global recognition. It reeks of desperation. Have some dignity and maintain some standard.
You will never see a male/female megastar from any other country (say a Gong Lee, a Salma Hayek or a Penelope Cruz) keep doing non-lead, two-bit roles with C-list stars (special appearances excluded) or resort to stunt tactics to stay in HW. In that regard, I would appreciate an Aishwarya or a DP for trying out their luck and return when they weren’t successful with their heads held high. PC must’ve REALLY busted up her career in BW. Or rubbed some very powerful people really, really wrong. I feel bad for her.
The talk show is another try-out to see where it may land her. I read that she’s going to produce her next HW movie in which she’ll be the lead. However, judging from the desperation and the down-grading, I won’t be surprised if she tries reality shows next.

    3. It’s a good move for her in terms of perception. When she gained a bit of weight she became much more A-list rather than in the beginning when she was wearing mini skirts on Jimmy Kimmel. When she wears overtly sexy attire she just becomes another babe. When she dresses funky and is a bit heavier she becomes “Priyanka Chopra – US star”. It was a good move initially to be hot, so she could get noticed and command some attention, and it’s a good move now to be woke and a little more relatable a la Meghan Markle pregnancy. I think Pregnancy will really suit her. Look at PC’s career growth in US in the last few years, it’s amazing. She started off just the way she did in India, as the hot sexy girl. She was wearing oversize football jerseys, dancing it up on tv, music videos wearing see through catsuits and working for Guess. From then to now she’s now wearing couture, being invited to fashion weeks and walking the Grammy’s and Oscars like she owns the place. It’s a fantastic PR journey and the only thing that can ruin it for her is her shady politics so she honestly should stop trying to appease right wing fanatics and fundamentalists on Twitter (they DON’T MATTER!) and/or more likely trying to appease Modi so she can stay powerful in India and just.. capitalize on her success in the US. She really needs to avoid statements like Jai Hind (it’s become the equivalent of “Make America Great Again” hyper nationalism is no longer cute, especially not for someone who says she wants to take over the world or is a global citizen), her super nationalist vibe will throw off advertising dollars and partnerships in the western world. Swanning around with Modi, her pictures with Indira Ghandi, all of that stuff is bad news bears. Maybe straddling both worlds really isn’t a good move anymore. Chal sasural ko, paisa kamao and then become a super rich humanitarian a la Brigette Bardot. That would keep her name legendary forever rather than being a too-old (in the future I mean) -once-famous actress. Before anyone @’s me, I’m semi-joking 🙂 just in a mood today haha.

      1. Don’t hide behind name like Rekha rai u are actually a Pakistani reason becoz no Indian will have trouble staying Jai Hind secondly no Indian even Muslims will say ‘Ghandi’ they knows it’s Gandhi
