Bollywood Blind Item 3 – October 2018
Since the #MeToo movement has been going on full force in Bollywood, so many blind items have been coming out about Bollywood‘s predators. So many of them in such a short amount of time. Naturally, some of you did get fed up and ask why these writers didn’t just out them instead of writing blind items about these predators. Here’s the thing, you can’t go to rehab for an addiction that your friend has. What we are trying to say is, unless the victim himself/herself doesn’t come out with what happened, no one else has the authority to accuse someone out loud if they are simply a witness or have heard the story.
It is not just about naming and shaming these predators, it’s about telling the world what these narcissistic and megalomaniac predators did. You know how narcissistic and megalomaniac people are? They never admit they are wrong and they refuse to be shamed publicly, which means they would take you to the ground if need me. Look at Indian minister, MJ Akbar, instead of accepting what he did, he filed a defamation case against Priya Ramani, who was the first woman to publicly name and shame him. He has 97 lawyers on his team while she is just one person, who is ready to fight these allegations. Can you imagine her situation?
For the victims to publicly come out, they have to be mentally, emotionally and physically strong to face whatever they get thrown right back at them. Look at Alok Nath, so many women and witnesses have supported the lady he raped. He and his wife have both filed a defamation suit against her. It’s not an easy battle for the victims because these men are crazy! They will do anything to take down their victims. This means that they don’t see any wrong in what they have done, like it’s normal to them.
So, to all those saying how these predators should be outed, it’s not that easy and is not going to be unless the victims themselves come out and say it. Like Tanushree Dutta, she came out with her story. No one took that big of a notice. Then, a witness came out to say that Tanu is not lying, everyone stood up and took notice. The victim has to come out first and then the witnesses can support them by corroborating their stories. Otherwise, the case won’t go anywhere and will be pointless.
The blind item below is by PinkVilla. It is about a famous photographer, who used to be the official photographer of this tycoon. The tycoon had this calendar and every year, he would have new girls shot in a sexy way. It would be futile to say that this old creep is like a nice uncle to this girls. You all know the story. The fashion world is very similar to Bollywood, if not worst. They strongly believe in the use and discard policy. Do you think they brought all these pretty girls to an outdoor location and have not tried to get creepy with them?
Speaking of this calendar, two of Bollywood‘s biggest female stars were also part of it. Bollywood‘s Ultimate Godfather saw this UK import and enquired about her. This was her first big photoshoot and he noticed her from that time on. This was before her first Indian film came out. Yes, the same disastrous one. Can’t help but wonder whether the ladies in that film went through any predatory behaviour on the sets.
The photographer in the blind item below has not supported any of the #MeToo cases yet. He has not even said a word on his social media account. Let’s see who is going to try to out him. Hopefully, it happens sooner or later. Check out the blind item below from PinkVilla.
The big shot photographer, known for his annual calendar shoots, might face legal trouble soon?
With all the on-going Me Too movement gaining momentum looks like there are a lot of old skeletons that are ready to jump out of the closet. This time, the man in question is a famous photographer who is known for his yearly sensuous calendar shoots. The case goes back to 2011 and 7 girls who are out to find a legal route to make him pay for his deeds. One hears that the girls were asked for sexual favours by not only the ace lens man but also the business tycoon who owned the yearly project.
The girls were also sent for high profile parties. But once the girls refused to do so, they clearly were dropped and were not given work at all. Now that the girls have threatened to take a legal route, we hear the photographer is right now sitting across the table trying to crack a deal with them to not take legal action nor tweet about it. Wonder if his deals will click or not?
