Salman Khan is leaving no stone unturned to relaunch his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma in ‘Antim: The Final Truth’. Directed by Mahesh V Manjrekar, ‘Antim’ features Salman in a guest appearance opposite Aayush. Guess Bhai got tired of waiting around for other producers to give Aayush a film, he decided to do it himself. He did also took it upon himself to launch Aayush in ‘Loveyatri’ in 2018 despite Sohail Khan saying that they will not be launching Aayush after he got married to Arpira, their sister.
Now after two years, Salman decided to remake a Marathi film that he saw which stared Mahesh Manjrekar. Initially, they wanted other actors in Salman’s role but they couldn’t get any. Anil Kapoor was a strong contender but maybe he opted to help out his own son Harvardhan instead of Salman’s BIL.
Since it was Ganesh Chaturthi, the Khans decided to promote the film a bit since they have gone silent after releasing the first look months ago. Salman took to his Twitter to release the song ‘Vighnaharta’ from ‘Antim’. The surprise guest star in the song is none other than Varun Dhawan who gets to share screen space with both Aayush and Salman at different moments in the song.
Obviously, Varun had to do this cameo considering the number of times Salman helped his father David out, whether it was to make an appearance in his remakes or to show his support. It’s time for payback, buddy!
In this song, though, Varun is back to his mimicking Sanjay Dutt’s walk or was it a mix of Bhai + Baba’s walk? Trying to act tough with a tiny bit of overacting!
But the first best part of this song still has to be Aayush suddenly grooving to the song all happy and smiling after just being shown violently shooting people with a pissed-off look on his face. What just happened? Did he want to show his smooth dancing skills? It just doesn’t add up when all the promos for this film, he is looking fierce and angry at Salman for not launching him sooner.
And the second best part of this song is Salman going shirtless to show off his VFX-made six packs! Like we haven’t already seen it in ‘Radhe’ and ‘ETT’! Also, why did both men take their shirts off before fighting? It’s not like they are wearing long and lengthy shirts that are getting in the way of their fist fight! Besides, it would have saved Salman Khan Productions lots of money if he just kept his shirt on! But no! Bhai still has to show off his body ’cause he thinks that’s what his fans are looking for!
Damn, this looks intense!
Will Salman’s presence in Aayush’s second film work wonders for his career? Or maybe even kickstart his career?
