‘Pyar Kiya Toh Darna Kya’ was Sohail Khan’s directorial debut. He was set to make it as a director, but then on the eve of the release of this film he eloped with a girl named Seema and married her that night itself. Today, Sohail and Seema are happily married with 2 boys. Somehow if you look at them, they have pretty much the same facial features. In this first film that he choose to do with brother Salman Khan, Sohail is seen here directing a scene to Dharmendra. This film went on to be a hit, but unfortunately his other directorial ventures didn’t make much impact at the box office.
