No, he’s not related to any of the Malhotras in this industry – Sidharth Malhotra is a complete newcomer. The man was a model before (he’s handsome) and then he just randomly dropped by Karan Johar’s office one day and asked him for a job. Of course with pretty looks as his, Karan took notice of him immediately and signed him on to work as an assistant on films like ‘My Name Is Khan’ and ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna’. Then KJo signed him on as one of the two leads in ‘Student of the Year’. Quite a dream debut for Sidharth, but I’m sure he worked hard for it!
