Karan Johar turns 50 today! Happy birthday to the man who is responsible for making the favorite movie or movies of many Indians, NRIs, and also foreigners.
On the occasion of his birthday, KJo send out an announcement on social media. Upon first look, one might think it was a wedding announcement just because of the way it looks. It’s not!
It’s even more shocking than that! Karan announced that he will be directing an action film after his current directorial venture releases. For a second there, we thought it was an April Fool joke! But it’s not! Karan has always said that if there was one genre he wished he could do, it would be action! We assume he has had a bit of training after watching Rohit Shetty closely.
Now, who is going to star in this action film?
Also, notice how there’s no mention of ‘Takht’. Karan mentioned in several interviews last year and perhaps this year too that the film was still on but guess he finally accepted it won’t work out.
