‘Sholay’ is such a huge film in history. No one anticipated this film to be big, not even its stars or its makers. In fact, I remember an interview in which Amitabh Bachchan said that they were unsure whether or not people will like this film as his character dies in the end. At that time, first heroes didn’t die at the end of a film especially not someone like Amitabh Bachchan.
