Anushka Sharma’s ‘Pari’ is set to release this week and she is making sure that everyone from the team goes out there to promote the film. Clover Wootton, who is Anushka’s look designer in the film, had a funny incident to tell while she was doing promotions for her film. It’s quite funny and shows how Ranbir Kapoor can’t pretty much hold in any information inside of him. It’s why Karan Johar called him the “broadcast minister”, as in someone who tells everyone everything.

When Anushka Sharma punked Ranbir Kapoor
Given that I’m working on The Sanjay Dutt biopic and Anushka being a very good friend of Ranbir, she had anticipated that he will be asking about ‘Pari’. Between us we decided to plan a prank on him. We decided to fill him in with some lies and see how far the story goes…So when Ranbir asked me about ‘Pari’, I told him that Anushka is playing a dog woman – half human and half dog. I went on to tell him how much she is working towards getting into her character, and how she is observing Dude (her pet dog) to get it all right.
After giving all that nonsense, we let Ranbir stew. After, four or five months, Anushka and I met again for ‘Sui Dhaaga’, which stars Varun Dhawan. And, the first thing he asked her was – ‘I heard you are playing a dog in ‘Pari’, how’s that going?’ We still laugh our hearts out thinking about where it came from!
How dumb was Ranbir to think that Anushka was playing a freaking dog in her film?
At least, he could have called her first to confirm before spreading the news around. Anushka knows very well how curious Ranbir is. She once said that when he came to her house, he opened all the drawers to see what was in there. Sounds like a child with no manners! How did someone as private as Katrina Kaif been with him for so long?
