Trailer: Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan – Ayushmann Khurrana, Gajraj Rao, Neena Gupta & Jitendra Kumar

The trailer of ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ was released last week. This film is the sequel to ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’, a film that was released in 2017. It’s not really a true sequel, it’s more like the ‘Housefull’ films.Β

Watching the trailer for the first time, it completely slipped our mind what this movie was about. So when we saw the trailer, it was quite surprising. But Ranveer Singh was right: Ayushmann aka ROI is taking on all the subjects and issues that men go through.

The other actor in the film, the one opposite Ayushmann, is Jitendra Kumar. You might find him very familiar and that’s because he went viral before. He is part of The Viral Fever and this is his first big film.

The film is the first big commercial film that focuses on the love story of two men. ‘Dostana’ did it years ago but that was a fake love story and it made fun of that equation rather than treating it normal.

In this film, it’s normal and to prove that, they even included a lip lock in the film. It will be interesting to see how this one will fare at the box office. Will families go to watch this together? Will they blur the kiss out in theatres? Let’s see.

‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ also stars the adorable senior actors from ‘Badhai Ho’ who played Ayushmannn’s parents, Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao.

‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ will be released in theatres on February 21.

By the way, how many of you are concerned of the current virus situation? If it gets out of hand, sooner or later upcoming releases are going to get affected.

Alright, as per tradition.
