Trailer: Panipat – Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt & Kriti Sanon

Two days ago, critics were raving about this trailer on social media. Most of them said, it was so good that they wanted to watch it over and over again. So, we were wondering exactly how good it must be that they want to see it over and over again. But then again, you know how some critics are!

When this film was announced, a lot of people were skeptical. For one, the lead actor has not been able to carry a normal commercial film on his shoulders so how in the world was he going to be the main attraction of a big budget period film?

Before we move on, check out the trailer of ‘Panipat’:

There you have it!

Social media is having a day with this trailer. And yes, it does look like a mix-match of ‘Bajirao Mastani’ & ‘Padmaavat’. Unlike ‘Kalank’, who had the copied and paste touch of Sanjay Leela Bhansali films, ‘Panipat’ more like has the scenes from these two SLB films. They had Sanjay looking like Khilji, Kriti looking like a mixture of PC and Deepika’s character and Arjun looking miscast.

Seriously? These Kapoor kids seem to have weak dialogue delivery. It’s just the way they sound, like they are so relaxed and have nothing to worry about. But he should have worked on his diction to make his words sound powerful.

Like someone once said, SLB has no copyright on period films but that doesn’t mean he is the only one that is allowed to make them. It’s just that other directors should try period films in a different way that bears no resemblance to any SLB period film.

By the way, Hrithik would have been so cool in place of Arjun but then again it would have looked like Akbar.

And yes, this trailer did make us want to watch it twice…Only because we couldn’t believe that they decided to invest this much money on something like this! As usual every famous celebrity or star kid is promoting how great this trailer is on social media.

Seriously, they have time to say something nice about this but couldn’t share something for a much better ‘Manikarnika’ trailer?!

So, who is ready to watch Malaika’s rib in ‘Panipat’?
