Trailer: Mardaani 2 – Rani Mukerji

The trailer of ‘Mardaani 2’ is out now. Starring Rani Mukerji, this is the sequel of ‘Mardaani’, which was released in 2014. Like the first film, which was about underage girls being abducted and sold, this one is about gruesome murders that have been happening in a city. The film will be released on December 13, 2019.

Check out the trailer of ‘Mardaani 2’:

‘Mardaani’ was quite graphic when it was released and ‘Mardaani 2′ appears to be even more graphic. Sadly, these things are happening in the country so there’s no point of shying away from depicting the truth.

Just last week, Rani won the Most Influential Cinema Personality award at the Economic Times Asian Business Leaders Conclave 2019 in Singapore. She was over there with her daughter and husband, but obviously Mr. India didn’t attend the event.

We can’t help, but wonder about Rani’s words at the round-table conference about the #MeToo movement. Wonder if she is going to tell the victims’ family the same thing in this film!

That apart, earlier this week also marked the 15th year anniversary of ‘Veer-Zaara’ aka the movie where Rani secure the bag. You all know this story so no bother going down memory lane. OK, so if you don’t…It all started from this film itself, from getting home-cooked food for Mr.India to securing other roles with his production company. That was the beginning.

    1. I thought Rani started getting film roles in YRF before Veer Zaara. Wasn’t Hum Tum and the film with Hrithik and Kareena before Veer Zaara?

    2. Honestly, i won’t.

I hate watching rape scenes not to talk of the extremely violent one portrayed in the trailer. The last rape scene i watched, i couldn’t sleep well for days so i avoid them totally. Even rape scenes depicted in books, i can’t read.

I don’t need to watch or read a rape scene for me to know how evil the act is.

Sorry if how i feel makes me a chicken. I’m an emotionally fragile person.

    3. Admin: You’ve really upped the game with your write ups. So many fun and insightful tid bits. Keep up the good work!
