The Killing, Game of Thrones & The Borgias back in April 2012

April is coming! This year, the month of April is highly anticipated by fans of TV shows ‘The Killing’, ‘Game of Thrones’, and ‘The Borgias’. These shows will resume back from last season where it all stopped at a cliffhanger, especially ‘The Killing’. The month of April brings back a highly anticipated season two of ‘The Killing’, ‘Game of Thrones’, and ‘The Borgias’, all eyes will mostly be on ‘Game of Thrones’ – a show that garnered lots of positive reviews and awards when it completed its season premiere run on HBO. If you follow my sometimes posts on TV shows then you will know that I am a fan of these shows.

    The Killing

‘The Killing’ had a successful season premiere last year, but season one was supposed to end last year too – that’s what we, fans, thought! And we were left highly disappointed, as the writers and producers of the show decided to end the finale with a question mark! Most of the fans of ‘The Killing’ were mad and angry, but the TV network successful managed to unintentionally force its viewers to tune in to season two to see “Who Really Killed Rosie Larsen?” This is one of the reasons I’m eagerly waiting for the season two premiere of ‘The Killing’ on April 1st 2012. I HAVE to know “Who Killed Rosie Larsen?” After that, let’s see of the show continues to be interesting. I mean, how many more crime/murders cases can we watch on TV? But that said, the cast of ‘The Killing’ are very good at what they do: Playing their characters well. Will you tune in to ‘The Killing’ Season Two premiere?

    Game of Thrones

‘Game of Thrones’ was a very awkward show for me to watch in the beginning. It was a show with a whole new different concept. I actually wondered how on earth did they get a story like this? And then, I read somewhere that it was originally a book! Also, that was before the whole dragon thing was introduced on that show! What works for ‘Game of Thrones’ is the amount of nudity they have on the show! Yes, I’m being honest here; nudity from good-looking people only happens on HBO! This explains why a lot of guys fancy enjoy watching this show. That aside, ‘Game of Thrones’ has a story to tell and season two is expected to be much bigger and hopefully, better than season one was. For those of you who can’t wait to know what happens on the show, why not buy the book and read it? I had rather watch it on TV where it’s easy to take it all in. Also, not reading the book makes the show more interesting to watch as you don’t know what’s going happen next. Lots of expectations are expected from this show so let’s wait and see how it fares this year. How excited are you to see more naked grownup boys and girls on HBO this April?

    The Borgias

You might be surprised, but I enjoy watching ‘The Borgias’ because of Jeremy Irons. His voice just mesmerizes the whole show, he’s like trying to hypnotize. Aside from Jeremy Irons, ‘The Borgias’ has a storyline that will keep you glued and informed. At the beginning, it was nice to learn about lots of things from that era. Many things in ‘The Borgias’ have happened in the past so it was nice to learn about it in a very informative way. Here too, there’s nudity involved. You might say that ‘The Borgias’ is different from ‘Game of Thrones’. It has a more relaxing mode that audiences will sport when watching it, compared to watching ‘Game of Thrones’. I can’t wait to see the developments on the show with hope that the show doesn’t bore me, but more importantly I can’t wait to hear Jeremy Iron’s soothing voice all over again! So are you ready for the return of ‘The Borgias’?

That’s about it from me, this time. I will share more what’s on my mind when there is more to share. If you are interested in reading my other thoughts in writing, then look out for the related articles below. In the meantime, enjoy good things on the big and small screen.
