Not that this news is a surprise for all of you since there have been numerous blind items regarding the impending nuptials of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja. Instead of sharing the wedding card, the Kapoors and Ahujas have released a joint statement to announce the wedding. The couple also gave this reason as to why they don’t have any printed wedding cards or invitation cards:
Both Sonam and Anand believe in paper conservation. They believe that wedding cards mean a lot of waste of paper. Hence they have asked their families to not print any invitation cards. Instead, they have designed an elegant e-invite together which will be sent to their friends and relatives on their phones.
Oh, well! Can’t fake an invite to this wedding then. Unless someone leaks the private message. Anyways, here is the official statement.
The Kapoor and Ahuja families, take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam and Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai . Since it is an intimate affair , we request you to respect the family’s need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love, as we celebrate this special moment in our lives.
We have said it many times before and saying it again, Congratulations to both of them. By the way, this guy is like the male version of Sonam! They really gel well.

Tell me about the bias on pinkvilla. I have been trying to post comments in defence of RS on DPRS wedding articles where DP fans abuse RS, saying that he is the one spreading wedding rumours and calling him names to no avail. None of them are posted. Dp’s contemporaries are the ones in the news for their wedding and marital bliss not RS’s for him to spread rumours about his marriage to compete with them. Dp name dropping him when describing her off days in her recent Anupama Chopra interview (even Anupama was taken aback when she mentioned Ranveer when describing her typical day) confirmed for me that this marriage is definitely happening. There is no need for her to plug RS so much because Padmaavat prmotions are definitely over. (Ps:I like DP not ranting against her but I’m very pissed that bias pv is not posting my comments in defence of RS. So needed to vent. Lol).
Also the news of RS getting a train named after him in Switzerland, his Freddie Mercury and Charlie Chaplin tribute being reposted by the official Queen and Charlie Chaplin social media accounts are conviniently missing from pinkvilla. And there some people who says RS’s pr send articles to news websites. Why are positive news about him not posted on pv then??

The negativity around Rs has increased double fold since Rs-Dp going public about their relationship. Now it look’s like Dp is trying to divert the attention from Rs and their relationship so as reduce the negativity around them and Rs. Kjo has invested in pinkvilla- as in he has share’s in pinkvilla. So who know’s what’s actually happening.
@pooja DP and RS going public, their marriage and Padmaavat box office success rattled a lot of bollywood insiders and bigwigs. Infact a few commentors on this site (even before the smear campaign against RS started), did predict that a lot of negative things will be thrown at him via blinds, and rumours to hinder his success. Looks like this is all part of it. Rs and his team should be on alert every second. The vultures are really out to get him.
So the rumour of kjo investing in pv is true. Pv does tend to post fake, vicious and negative blinds about outsiders/ not part of Kjo gang.

For what its worth… Sonam is one person in industry who did things right …so far. Did not give Bhaav to Ranbit …Had most uncomplicated relationship and walking to altar. Has her own production company where she produces her own movies..and sometimes does other movies. Has rock solid family with Brother-Sister and good parents.
You may argue she is not a good actress and talks nonsense …let me tell you all the NEpo kids with few exceptions are Snakes…esp the Kapoor Khaandan who are serial backstabbers. Sonam verbal tirade is far far harmless than the real snakes out there.

@ kali …i knew that. I knew while i was typing…she briefly dated him just like punit….some guy . But she was not as affected by it like Katrina and Deepika. She probably was pissed off that Rk went to date DP after her…nor was her relationship with RK a serious one. Unlike DP-KAt she was unscathed by RK…no one even remembers they once dated.
Considering how successful both KAT-DP were and are…they still have the tag of being desperate and still clinging on to Rk memories (be it by shippers or haters) just because they dated RK. That guy is bad news for any woman out there… he can only be a woman’s lowest point and never otherwise. And then men that come into these women’s life after RK have to also bear the brunt…that way SONAM was least effected…which is why i even mentioned Sonam in RK’s context that she did not give him Bhaav.
I think Sonam and Ranbir were very briefly involved during sawariya shoot.. But,as soon as the shoot was over,Sonam has kept a certain distance from Ranbir.. Maybe she knew RK is a trash and not fit to be a BF… Sonam is very open about her like and dislike and it’s better than stabbing at the back…
Hope she quits movies and involves herself more in styling and fashion.. That’s her area of interest…

I like that in a woman…I am not hating on DP….with all her success and fame, DP’s personal life has been such a public mess , it is still and will probably haunt her. I still read about her RK tatoo everywhere.
It was and is Dp’s choice to keep the tatoo. The tatoo is a constant reminder of what happens when you depend too much on you’r partner ,what jerks men can be and the dark phase in her life .
It’s not her fault that rivals use the tattoo to sell a certain kapoor chirag. It only show’s that Dp sticks to her stance—- a stance she took eons ago. @kiran101 Most DP fans are vicious to most people she is close with. Look at the way they abuse Shaleena, her stylist on social media. (I know Shaleena styling is not that great but they can’t come to terms that it is not only Shaleena’s doing. She can’t force her client to wear clothes or hairstyles she dislike. Deepika must be liking the looks as well for her to wear them in public). And in some Shaleena interview she said she knew DP since Bangalore days, so obviously DP is never gonna sack her only friend in Mumbai just because her fans hate her. Same goes for Ranveer.
Because of his public personna of always being OTT, joking around they think he is some uneducated, unclassy, unsuave, poor guy beneath her. But if they watch her interviews she always say he is very intelligent, serious and calm in real life unlike his hyper bunny act in public. RK’s public image is built as the classy, educated, suave, rich, sophisticated guy (which we know he is not in real life). Ranveer’s public image is based on him to connect with the mass/sinngle screen audience so all the OTT shennanigans. Dp fans believe his public image is his true self which actually is not true.
The minute Ranveer becomes a bigger star, these DP fans will be showering him with praises. And that day is not far away. Male actors peak much later and have longer longevity as stars than female actors. That is a fact. Dp will fade gradually in the next 10 years or so but Ranveer’s will keep on rising. Most DP fans sound like immature, teens.
Regarding the tattoo, in the PC and DP kwk episode (right after she started dating RS) DP did say she don’t think about the tatoo as much as others do and that it will come off at some point. Maybe she is planning to get it removed closer to her marriage. Who knows??

As far as DP is concerned…dont push it babe…dont push. The whole RKDP does not die because DP keeps it alive in some way. @kiran101 Your comment on DP not finding a guy like Ranveer, reminded me of a comment I read on pv ages ago by someone claiming to be a friend of a friend of DP. This was maybe around 2013 after Ramleela released and before them getting pictured in NewYork spending her birthday with him and made it kinda official. Every one was commenting that it was all pr for Ramleela, casual hookup or that they will not last for more than a year. Heck, even I thought they were just casually hooking up with each other.
But the commentor claiming to be friend of DP’s friend, was saying RS is DP’s weakness and DP will never let go of RS easily because she have never got so much love and affection from any of her ex bfs. The reason she never talks about is because she is really in love and does not want to jinx their relationship. The commentor even said that they will eventually get married that is how serious they are about each other even back then. I now believe this comment was truly made by someone who knew DP. He/she predicted the whole situation because of the inside info he/she had. How I wish I could remember the title of this article so I can search pv and find this comment to exactly quote what that person wrote. I can’t recall much but in hindsight, it was very close to the truth.
Maybe DP already knows what a gem RS is. That is why since Padmaavat filming ended she is giving gushing about RS. Or maybe he gave her an ultimatum or the rough patch they had last year may have opened her eyes more to what is at stake.
Even if DP completely shun RK from her life, him and his pr will find ways to attach his name to her. The Kapoor khaandhan have been doing this for ages. His pr is releasing articles constantly linking him with ex gfs. The Kapoors are even now not sparing Vijayantimala and Nargis from the Raj Kapoor affairs. Vijyatimala denies having an affair with Raj Kapoor but Rishi hits back at her calling her a liar.
Regarding DP calling RS not being a superstar, I have a feeling that she did it to protect him. If he is touted as a superstar kjo and bollywood bigwigs will do everything to bring his downfall. They already started the smear campaign against him. Look at all the negative rumours/blinds about him.

I like Deepika but i find it weird how DP fans support her stupid decision to flaunt her tattoo whenever possible. I just saw a DP pic at the gym and all i could see was that RK tattoo.

Re Deepika’s tattoo, she is not the smartest person in Bollywood. A decent actress and pretty but comes across as an uneducated dimwit. Not surprised that she got a tattoo of a now ex-boyfriend even though her livelihood is that she acts is in indian movies which are mostly about asthetics and tattoos are really hard to remove. Since her ex’s initials are still fairly obvious of course people still talk about it and it confuses some of her genuine fans as they think she is still despo for Ranbir when she is a far bigger star than him today.
