L’Oreal seems to be experimenting with Sonam Kapoor’s looks. I like the look, but I don’t like the purpose of the ad. For years now, brands have been trying to fool the Indian people that their dark or brown skin can be whitened. So far, I haven’t seen any proof that using whitening cream can really lighten your complexion. How many middle-class girls or even boys spend their money on Fair & Lovely just to be prettier. It doesn’t make sense. I wish the government wouldn’t encourage the selling of these products.
