I am a people person. I love interacting with them, and being part of large crowds. I am able to connect with people at a very human level.

Ranveer Singh on being inspired by his dad
I used to admire my father’s ability to have a hearty laugh with his local mechanics, when we used to go to get his car fixed. He was so pally with them. At the same time, I also used to go with him to all these fancy parties, and see that he’s equally comfortable having a conversation about anything under the sun with some really wealthy people. I consciously imbibed this quality.

Ranveer on his ability to connect to people
I can connect to a kid, an old person, people from any place, or any walk of life. I think it is an ability that really helps me in my profession. I think this is an important quality to have as an actor.

Ranveer Chopra on working with Aditya Chopra again
I am getting to know Aditya in a completely different capacity. Now I know him in this dynamic new avatar of a director, and not only as a mentor. Our relationship is becoming more substantial with every passing day. He is absolutely incredible, and this is going to be his freshest film. He told me from the very beginning that he wants me to be hands-on, and collaborate closely with him. He doesn’t want me to just be an actor who executes the material given to him. I am loving this whole process.
