Perfect Couples, Mr. Sunshine, Better with You, & More Shows Cancelled

Last month, news came out on the number of shows that got cancelled. Now I was hoping my favourites won’t be on it, but unfortunately nothing was spared. In almost every TV network, one or two favourite shows of mine got the red light.

For a whole season, you get to watch a new show, you get to identify with the characters and then all of the sudden, they are gone. Like the French would say, “Bouff” – or something similar that doesn’t sound like Shia LaBoeuf’s name!

Ok so when I got the list below, it was sad that some of my favourite shows last season were on it. But on the bright side, these TV networks are giving new people a chance to make it. It’s like going on a Ferris wheel; lots of people are waiting so you have to wait for your turn to come. Anyways, check out the list of the shows that have been cancelled. After the list, you will find new shows that can, according to me, replace the old shows – the entertainment part. Also see on the list, I didn’t mention ‘Kate + 8’, I mean who cares about this show anyway? Kate Gosselin!

CANCELED SHOWS, BY NETWORK:

ABC

‘Better With You’
‘Brothers & Sisters’
‘Detroit 1-8-7′
‘Mr. Sunshine’
‘My Generation’
‘No Ordinary Family’
‘Off the Map’
‘V’

NBC

CBS

‘The Defenders’
‘Mad Love’
‘Medium’
‘$#*! My Dad Says’

THE CW

‘Life Unexpected’
‘Smallville’

As you can see on the list, some of these shows were running for way too long. The long run of ‘Smallville’ is the reason why my brother refuses to grow up! Some of these shows were pretty good. Not just good, but I feel the network didn’t give them time to grow among the audience. Shows like ‘Perfect Couples’, ‘Mr. Sunshine’, and ‘Better with You’ were sort of fun to watch. These shows had nice comedy timing, especially in the writing.

So leaving what’s gone behind, let’s move on to the shows that you can watch to cure your broken heart over your favourite cancelled shows. These do not include any new shows for the upcoming season. At the time that this piece would be published, some of these shows might not be on air anymore; you will just have to wait for next season.
