Mr Bajao getting Bajaoed

How is it that no one has called him out on this yet? This is the first time a politician has publicly called Akshay Kumar out on his nationality and his agenda in Bollywood.

The person responsible for the headline above is Raj Thackeray, who is the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief. We don’t know much about him except that the movie ‘Sarkar’ was based on his uncle. He was rumoured to be in a relationship for many years with this very beautiful actress, who is not really acting since she got married years ago but is still very pretty.

In case you are wondering why this is a big deal, it’s because Bajao saab has denied it and called his citizenship, a honorary citizenship!

Back to Akshay Kumar, here’s what Raj Thackeray said:

Raj Thackeray said that films Akshay Kumar, who starred in both the films, was trying to walk in the footsteps of yesteryear actor Manoj Kumar, popularly known as `Bharat Kumar’, he said.

“But Akshay Kumar is not even an Indian citizen. He holds a Canadian passport and his Wikipedia profile describes him as Indian-born Canadian actor,” Thackeray said.

The MNS chief also said that films such as ‘Toilet Ek Prem Katha’ and ‘Padman’ were a covert propaganda for government schemes.

How come no one publicly questioned why Akshay Kumar, the honorary citizenship holder of Canada, was not present at the Bollywood event for Canada’s Prime Minister, which was held in Mumbai to celebrate Justin Trudeau’s visit? Mr. Bajao is definitely being protected, but by whom and why?

Also, have you noticed how Mr. Bajao and Mrs. Funnybones both keep quiet when issues surrounding them are made public? It’s strange, especially for Mrs. Funnybones because she thinks she needs to comment on anything and everything. Signs of guity people feeling guilty!
