This is Karan Johar’s second talkshow promoting anything that DisneyPlus Hotstar produces and releases.
Sara Ali Khan, Dhanush, and Akshay Kumar’s ‘Atrangi Re’ will be streaming on the same platform on December 24 so that’s why Sara and Dhanush are on the show to promote the film. It’s quite a pairing, the perfect example of opposite attracts.
This is Dhanush’s first appearance on the show and this is Sara’s second. KJo makes it a point to show off at the beginning that it was Koffee with Karan that launched Sara which is true, in a way.

Dhanush was quite calm and sombre compared to Sara but at least she’s not super excited. She was pretty OK. She did stump KebabJo when she mentioned that Ranbir should find his own match…which means what everyone was already thinking about his pairing with Aloo!
Honestly, Sara’s answers were more happening than Dhanush but guess Karan wanted to be the polite host and give it to Dhanush…Speaking of Dhanush, he should have his FIL Rajnikanth on the show! Imagine the questions!
Oh and Vicky Kaushal has been added to KebabJo’s list of top actors in the rapid fire round also including Ranbir, Ranveer and Varun. Don’t know if Vicky was included in that list before or is it being the Mr. Katrina Kaif effect?!
