Katrina Kaif still wants you to believe L’Oreal didn’t fire her

For some reason, Katrina Kaif and her people think that it is important to let us know what really happened between her and L’Oreal. This is related to the news item that Mumbai Mirror carried out about why Katrina left L’Oreal and Deepika Padukone joined in. We don’t know why Katrina felt the need to clarify on things. What if there really isn’t a make-up line? Question is, who is sponsoring this whole venture? A make-up line is not easy to sell. It might have been easier when she was prettier during her superhit phase that included playing flowerpot roles in films of superstars. What’s the point now? Anyways, Kat’s so-called friend blames Deepika and her PR for the media finding out. How in the world is that Deepika’s fault? Also, you think Deepu’s people will know why L’Oreal let Katty go? This is like the second time Katrina has bashed Deepika through her so-called friend. The first time was when Deepika asked to see Katrina’s passport and the media thought she was hinting at Ranbir Kapoor cheating on her with Katrina. Then, Katty was annoyed and said through her friend to the media that these two had issues and she had nothing to do with their breakup. We all know what happened then, so Kat denying it is just plain stupid. Maybe she should pick up the phone and sort out her issues with Deepu directly. Why go cry to the papers? Check out the news clipping below that we are talking about and the original piece that started it all.

What Mumbai Mirror posted

Wasn’t she worth it?
EVEN as her arch rival Deepika Padukone has been announced as the new brand ambassador for an international cosmetic biggie, your diarist can’t help but wonder whatever happened to Katrina Kaif. Kaif, who was the same company’s ambassador just for a couple of years, was let off last year. At the time, both Kaif and the company had stated a conflict of interest would arise, as the actor wanted to launch her own makeup retail brand. While we are scratching our heads wondering if Kaif’s company could ever compete with one of the biggest conglomerates in the world, we’re still waiting to test out her first lipstick. But we’re told it isn’t coming anytime soon, in fact, there may not be a makeup label by Katrina Kaif at all. Hmm, then what happened to being brand ambassador for among the world’s biggest companies and all those junkets to Cannes? Supposedly the lady didn’t win the popularity stakes with them, and wasn’t the most cooperative model. Ah, well. Now it’s as clear as day.
