To be fair, when there’s “slap” and Salman Khan in the same sentence, most people will think the obvious because it’s not the first time. Ever since Katrina Kaif lost one of her two lifeboats, she is hanging on to the only lifeboat she has got dearly, like her life depended on it. Going back and sticking to everyone’s favourite Bhai (not hers) has gotten her several deals, including IIFA 2017. If you are familiar with the Katrina-Salman relationship back then when they were together, what happened at the IIFA press conference will be like déjà-vu for you. Not the Beyonce song, déjà-vu as in seen before, like it’s nothing new. Salman has never stopped himself from making fun of Katrina, but this time Katrina too joined in and even went to the extend of telling Alia Bhatt to leave Salman for her and take Varun Dhawan instead. You know how desperate she is that she HAD to say this in public in front of the media? If you think about it, it’s like she’s warning Lulu to stay away from Sallu and just go back to Romania.
Aside from joking with each other, the real highlight of the video was when Salman Khan asked Katrina Kaif to “cover it up” or “pull it up”.
This reminded us of the time that Katty used to be with Sallu, she would dressed up appropriately onscreen and offscreen. The minute she realised she could impress (fish out) Ranbir Kapoor, she started shedding her clothes one by one. You know this is true, we are not making it up. If you see here in this picture, she is covered up but the dress is too short and her cleavage area is a bit open. Now, Bhai is not one to lose his temper in public in front of the media. He also couldn’t find a stick to show Katrina how she should dress in a modest way. So, he ended up being caught on camera telling Katrina many times to cover up her cleavage or something.
Katrina did what many girls do when their fathers tell them the same: she pretended not to understand or hear what Salman was saying. See, if she wanted to entice him, Bhai wouldn’t want everyone to be turned on as well; only he gets to be and stay a virgin after 50! Anyways, Salman tells her the same thing like 3 times and Katrina ends up telling him something like, “I can’t, it’s glued in” or something like that (we are not professional lip-readers).
