It is a trend these days in Bollywood for the heroes to have a fit and muscular body. The trend started with Sanjay Dutt back in the 90’s and Salman Khan followed suit. Salman himself trained many stars in the making including Hrithik Roshan and the latest, Arjun Kapoor. Hrithik Roshan kept his physique as much as he could over the years, but a back injury in 2011 forced him to stay bed-ridden for weeks hence putting on weight like he never did before. Due to that when his health became an issue, Hrithik got up and decided to take the first step into getting back to shape; he found Kris Gethin!

Kris Gethin just released a new book on fitness and naturally, Hrithik was there to launch it. Hrithik also features in several parts of his book, which is titled ‘The Guide to Your Best Body’. The book is available for sale now in stores online.

‘I look at myself and I am amazed that something like this is possible. It was a twelve-week transformation, but we completed it in ten weeks. ‘I’m just amazed at the possibilities of the human body and how easy it was. There was no sacrifice. Everything just flowed. I was loving my meals. They were nutritious as well as tasty. I don’t think I can go back to ‘normal’ (if I can say ‘normal’) kinds of food again, where it’s just about taste and not about nutrition.

‘I’m eager and almost desperate to make people aware of what all is possible. People need to get educated where all this is concerned. There’s just this scarcity of information. People are lost, and here is the best help that exists on the planet. I am living proof of that.’
