You know when they say “Black don’t crack”? They are referring to Eddie Murphy! At 56 years old, Eddie looks pretty much the same. In case you have no idea who Eddie Murphy is, he is a huge comedian star in Hollywood. He is the first black American comedian, who made it big. In fact, he is the inspiration for many of the other black comedians, who came after him like Chris Rock and Kevin Hart. He’s at the pinnacle of it all. We have seen a lot of his films and we think he started going wrong the minute he fell too much in love with himself. Playing 2 characters is fine, but the extent he went to satisfy his creativity pretty much killed his succesful career. From being a big superstar to playing that donkey in the Shrek series, Eddie pretty much made his own destiny in Hollywood. We don’t know whether he’s not getting roles now or he has become too choosy, he does prefer to stay at home more.

Last year, we read an interview of him that sounded depressing. It is true what they say about the greatest comedians, they did really suffer a lot when they were kids and Eddie was no different. He said he’s a recluse and doesn’t like going out much. So what does he do at home? He watches one movie of his everyday. Imagine that? He doesn’t keep in touch with the latest in Hollywood and doesn’t even care to watch the latest films of his black peers.

After getting divorced, he jumped from one woman to another one. He dated Mel B from the Spice Girls and when she got pregnant with his child, he refused to acknowledged it was his. They fought in court and all that and it was proven that she was his child. But that whole thing soured the relationship with Mel B and his daughter, which is why she’s not in the picture posted here. Now, Eddie lives with his sugababy and their baby, who was born just last year. His sugababy is around the same age as his first child.

Eddie must have saved and invested his money well since he doesnt’ feel the need to work anymore and can afford to have a sugababy and an actual baby. It’s nice how his kids turned out well and didn’t get messed up along the way.
