Bollywood Blind Item – November 2019 – 20

It was bound to happen sooner or later!

Every outsider on the road to success, climbing the ladder to the top gets embroiled in controversies one way or the other.

But with this actor, he WAS or might still be embroiled in a particular ‘stealing story’ controversy. There’s nothing new in that! Stars do it all the time. But with this actor, if he is or has been stealing ideas from others, he is coming out shining like no other actor. Maybe that’s why someone is standing up and taking notice now.

This actor, it’s quite something when you think of where he came from. He used to host shows on TV and was the host of Hrithik Roshan‘s dance show. From the time he was chosen to act in this beefcake’s actor first home production, he never looked back. Sure he gave a few flops after a surprise hit, he bounced back with stronger scripts. The credit sure goes to choosing the right scripts and stories to work in.

But still, that doesn’t excuse him from stealing other writers’ work. It’s plain wrong and he himself used to struggle so he should understand that better than anyone else. Unless, he realized this is the only way the industry works! Didn’t the other outsider actor quietly said he does not want to work with this actor again since he tried to steal his scenes or something?!

Bollywood Blind Item

THIS actor has fast become the toast of Tinsel-town, not only for his choice of subjects but also for turning them into success stories. However, an industry insider points that he’s no hero and has hijacked a few ideas narrated to him by struggling writers and directors.
Incidentally, a couple of projects stirred up controversy over alleged copyright infringement, but nothing came out of them. Does he know trust takes years to build but seconds to break?

OSOP Guess

Actor: Ayushmann Khurrana

The report states that Kamal Kant, who assisted on films such as Daav Dev and Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, has claimed meeting Ayushmann on the sets of his film Bareilly Ki Barfi. Kamal told NBT that he had gone to meet actor Rajkummar Rao on the sets of Bareilly Ki Barfi and got to meet Ayushmann as well.

Kamal said that he shared his idea of a man struggling with premature balding with Ayushmann on Whatsapp, who really liked it and invited him to discuss it. Kamal alleges that while Ayushmann did not follow up with him at all, the actor came up with a similar film idea after a few days.

Kamal added that he had sent a legal notice to all three — Ayushmann, Dinesh and Amar but did not get any response and therefore, went on to file a case against them.

Those who don’t know, Ayushmann Khurrana found himself in trouble for Bala when Kamal Kant Chandra who claims to be the original writer of the script alleged the makers Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik including Ayushmann for cheating him and stealing his story. Kamal said that he had registered the script with the Screen Writers Association in 2016 and communicated about it with Ayushmann in 2017 through WhatsApp. He also said that the makers of Bala have registered the script in 2018.

Kamal has been quoted as saying by Mid-Day, β€œIt’s wrong to start shooting before the court has given its verdict. At the last hearing, they said that they would take time to develop the script. How did they start shooting in 15 days? This means they gave a misleading picture to the court. I approached the vacation bench four days ago, but they stated that I should wait for the next hearing on June 10. But the makers might finish [a chunk of] the film by then and argue that since a lot of money is at stake, the court should rule in their favour.”

Admin i’m curious about the outsider who’s Ayushmann tried to steal his scene?!! Hope it’s not RR Kumar cause he defiantly was wasting his time as he wouldn’t be able to do that in thousand year. I realized that after watching Bareilly Ki Barfi. Kumar deserves all the good scripts Ayushmann swimming at. He defiantly has a wider range and great screen presence but his filmography sadly doesn’t interest me.
