A famous critic reviewed the show this blind item is talking about and said it was like trying to resuscitate a dead body! So this director went on to make his OTT debut with this show that stars this famous actress and a couple of good actors. This is the director’s third outing, after delivering two very high-budget but flop films with top stars.

How he managed that, you ask? He is married to one of Bollywood’s most famous choreographers and directors who happens to be connected to lots of Bollywood’s famous people and top stars. But he himself has not really been seen hanging out with these Bollywood people since he got into a super nasty fight with a superstar, who was once close to his wife. The superstar and this director’s wife have patched up since then but this director still prefers to remain out of Bollywood’s popular circles.

His OTT-released film is his first after 6 years and guess what? Since it was released itself, people have been bashing the trailer left, right and center. Now that the film has been released, they are calling it the worst film. Does it beat the other worst Hindi film that was produced by a top production house? Only those who saw both can comment on this.

AS we constantly devise novel ways to transcend this forced confinement, many have relaxed their standards of what accounts for a reasonable watch. But this recent release on a streamer, which was roundly panned by critics and the audience alike, has tested even our moderate grade of tolerance.

What’s more appalling is that the producer-director duo bagged a cool Rs 18 crore for the thriller that could have MJ turning in his tomb. And now, we learn that the platform in question has sworn never to work with the makers again, eliminating the scope for a sequel. There is a God, after all.
