Bollywood Blind Item – May 2020 – 16
This might just be any actor the blind item is referring to. Almost all of the top stars have been working when this pandemic put everything on hold. The question on everyone’s mind is when will they be able to go back to work.
The stars, producers, and directors are fine with not working or getting back to work, it’s those who earn on a daily basis that are suffering during this time. Luckily, the organizations involved have stepped up and helped. The organizations have even gone to stars and asked them to help, which is why you read reports of particular actors helping out sections of these professionals.
While we all want to be safe, it’s also worrying to think when everything will get back to normal. We are all forced to now live life in a different way and things are not going to be easy moving forward, especially not in India.
Wherever you are, hope you are doing well and here’s wishing times ahead will be better for all of us.

A famous actor seems to be rather vocal about his role in the current Covid-19 crisis. Even as film releases, shoots and exhibitions have been stalled, he says he is in no hurry to return to the sets.
He says he will resume work only when a vaccine is ready. Some of his actor friends are agreeing with him albeit superficially. It seems no one wants to face an online backlash of putting film crew and daily workers’ lives at risk.
Famous Actor: Akshay Kumaar
The pandemic has likely cost India’s film industry more than $330 million in lost box office revenue and canceled production shoots, according to Komal Nahta, a film trade analyst and television host of “ETC Bollywood Business.”
