We have never heard of this senior actress having starry airs or being such a huge diva. When we read the blind item, we thought it was Rekha, but it’s not her.
All the clues fit this blind item so it is her they are talking about. But just how true this BI is? What kind of tantrums was this actress throwing around? During her time, she was one of the most professional actresses, including Sridevi. They came, did their job and went back home.
Probably the only thing she did that created news recently was fire her longtime secretary and signing up with a talent agency. The chance didn’t really garner any good offers for her, but then again these actresses can only get good work if people are willing to see them. Pay a ticket and see them.
They might be senior, but they are the same age as the Khans. We would love to see her, Juhi and others of the same age with the Khans. It is up to the audience to want to see them and then only they will have the opportunity to do good roles. For now, only Tabu seems to be the one who is getting it right. And she is also one of those “come on the sets and do their job quietly then go back home”.

I highly doubt this is true … Any woman especially after her hey days are over if she is not bending over backwards to kiss someone’s ass…then such articles emerge.
Madhuri works with today’s stars and , yesterday stars like ANil …so i doubt she will throw tantrums on any of those. She gets roles coz of her past success and current residual aura , ofcourse as an experienced actress she will bring good performances .
But , somehow if media expects her to lose her basic pride just coz she isnt the superstar anymore …. COming to KWK , Sounding humble does not mean they are grounded in real life.
Madhuri was known for her superior dance skills in her time , there is no way she is gonna say someone else will do it better than her. She sais she wud do all of those better than other actors coz maybe she did not want to single out one actress . That was a good answer.
No one bats an eyelid when male actors praise themselves and their families all the time .
She was a huge star in her day. Bigger than Juhi certainly. Or Manisha. What’s she supposed to do now? Act like a C grader?
People often forget that Madhuri is only one such actress other than Sridevi who became a lady superstar of the country . She was much bigger and ruled longer than current top actors like Alia, DP ,Kat or all of them put together.
India again did not see that level of Actress superstars after Sri and Mads. Ofcourse she wont be a push over that media and others want her to be.
People often forget that Madhuri was the only actress who was a Superstar other than Sridevi . Madhuri was bigger superstar and ruled longer than any of current top stars or in past from Karishma, Aishwarya, Kareena, Deepika, Alia , Kat …she was Bigger than all of these people in her day.
Madhuri’s glory was only a step lower than Sridevi in her day. Ofcourse she wont be a pushover that media and others want her to be.

My friend’s mamaji was a reporter back in the 90s. He used to say how Madhuri had no class, used to come to the sets late and leave even if anyone made a small mistake. She used to throw tantrums, shout.
I remember him praising Manisha Koirala and used to call her very naive. And he used to say Sridevi hardly spoke with anyone. She was very shy and introvert.
In KWK, she was pretending to be good. Like “I never had any problem with anyone” type, which is a lie. And she pretended to be Sati Savitri. Everyone knows her kind of movies before “ek do teen” happened.

That’s a lot of loyalty for showbiz. Not professional on the set now? She shot those movies (Kalank and Total Dhamaal, not Double Dhamaal) last year. And how do you measure starry airs?
