Bollywood Blind Item – June 2020 – 7

UPDATE: It’s Official! They just announced this film will get a direct-to-OTT release. See more details below.

This film was announced last year with a release date coming up in a month. According to this blind item, the film will be released on an online streaming platform. It has already been decided by the film studio and they even told the director about it.

Earlier this month, though, the producer mentioned how they want to go back on the sets to finish the film. This means the film is not yet finished, which means it has been sold before it is even completed.

Either this news is not true or there was nothing else to report that day because they can’t possibly sell a film before it is completed. Unless there’s only post-production work but that is not the case here since the producer himself said there’s work to do before the film is done shooting.

Anyways, we don’t really remember the original film so it would be interesting to see what this director comes up with its sequel. Back in the day, he used to make good films before his film company moved on to making sleazy films. This is sort of his comeback film after retiring a long time ago and it’s interesting because he is working with two of his daughters in the sequel.

Check out the blind item below from Mumbai Mirror.
