Bollywood Blind Item – July 2019 – 28

This blind item is about this actor and how he is closely monitoring his upcoming film. It’s the right thing to do since this project is probably his biggest one yet and there is a lot of riding on him. Seriously, though, it’s interesting to see how this director keeps making big-budget films when his last one flopped badly.

This one has a budget of over 200 crore and a lead actor, who has unsuccessful films behind him. The difference is this film is meant to be a change for this actor, since he has to undergo a special fitness routine to look like the character he is playing.

Anyway, it will be interesting to see how the audience responds to this film.

In the meantime, check out the blind item from Bollywood Life. Thanks to the kind reader, who pointed out the mistakes in the guesses.

    Bollywood Blind Item

This young actor is overseeing even the edit of his big budget film

This young actor is sparing no effort to make sure that his next film, a big-budget one is a bonafide hit at the box-office

With two back to back flops, things are looking rather bleak for this actor professionally. However, he knows that he can bounce back with a big project that will release towards the end of the year. He has decided to get minutely involved in every aspect of the film so that it turns out to be a bonafide hit.

The young actor is overseeing the edit of the film. His intentions are noble and he only wants a polished finished product. It is understandable since a lot depends on this film. Based on a real-life event, it features the young hero in a genre that has been aced by another young superstar in recent times.

The young actor is sparing no efforts for this big-budget extravaganza. The film is costing close to Rs 200 crore so a lot depends on him. It stars an actress who is shining bright career-wise right now and a macho actor with a good fan base. It seems the young actor also refused to use props for a crucial sequence feeling that it would ruin the impact.

Much to the tension of the crew and director, he did his stunts on his own. They were worried about him injuring himself but he wanted it to be ‘authentic’. With the competition being intense amongst young male actors, we do not blame this hunk for going the extra mile.

    OSOP Guesses

    Actor: Arjun Kapoor

    Macho Actor: Sanjay Dutt

In an interview with a leading portal, Arjun revealed the reaction he got from the Kapoor clan when he told them about Malaika and his relationship. Stating his family has been supportive of his life decisions, the Ki & Ka actor said, “They are happy. That’s the reason I have been able to come out. There is genuine happiness for me. I have been through hell. I have been through a roller-coaster… from the age of 10 till 33. My parents got separated when I was around 11 years old.

Today I have some stability in my life and if someone gives me happiness, my family won’t be against it. I am genuinely happy. That is why a Friday at the box office doesn’t decide my life. Three years back, I had have been like, I am dying! What’s gonna happen? But today, I am relaxed.”

    1. He should invest in acting classes instead. He just cannot emote , same case with his siblings. The whole family just cannot act

    2. Young doesn’t exist in Bollywood. Not when teenagers were hypersexualized and pushed as heroines or when 50-55 yr old men continue to pretend to be 20 yr olds romancing girls half their age on screen. Youth icons!! ROFL. It is a sick industry that clearly needs some introspection of it’s own.

    3. Who in their right senses would invest 200 crs on Arjun and Sanjay? I mean you can make 4 decent movies in this budget with one of Ayushman/Rajkumar and Kriti Sanon! Unless it’s the old 500-1000 notes you want to get rid off 😛
P.S- building muscles will still not change Arjun Kapoor’s sleepy expressions

    4. 200 cr???????? who r the producers??? i pity them!! itna toh business sense a common person also has that u cant invest a 200 cr with Arjun as the lead!!

    5. Admin your guess for this blind is wrong. This is about Arjun Kapoor and Panipat. He had two back to back flops in Namastey London and India’s most wanted Tiger’s SOTY 2 flopped Baaghi 2 was a big hit. The successful heroine whose career is shining bright is Kriti not Vaani whose last film was the flop Befikre. The macho actor with a good fanbase is Sanjay Dutt.

Also the line about the movie being based on a real life event, a genre that has been aced by a young superstar in recent times does not point at war at all. Panipat is based on third battle of Panipat and Ranveer is the young superstar who has aced the period film genre. Tiger has aced the action genre from the young lot and War is not based on real life event.
