Bollywood Blind Item – July 2019 – 25

So much has been reported about this actor’s marriage since news came out that he and his wife were having troubles and have been living separately for months. Technically, he doesn’t really work in Bollywood anymore so the his marriage issues shouldn’t really have been this much talked about, especially when everything that has been reported comes from “sources”.

Two weeks ago, there was a blind item that reported he realized he is gay, which is why he left his wife. Prior to that, it was reported that he has a sugamamma, who was even sponsoring his trips to Paris.

Other than a statement from his mother-in-law, nothing has been confirmed. So this blind item is saying that he is seeking help. If he is, good for him. Being in the situation that he was/is, it must not have been easy. To be young, jobless and sitting at home for years must not have been easy!

Coincidentally, his wife was reported to be seeking help too. Last we heard, she has apparently signed up to study in London so she can help her brother at his bar-resto.

By the way, someone reported on Twitter how getting “help” and telling the world has become a fashion now. Meaning it’s a thing people do now to get attention. Now, maybe that’s a thing but as far as we know, more people are stressed and getting the help they need, which is a good thing. And, they feel it’s OK to let people know they have gone through something like this.

Yeah, life is hard and there is no shame in getting help – if you need it. Instead of feeling caged and getting all sorts of bad thoughts in your head, finding ways to make your life is definitely the way out to a better life.

Check out the blind item below from Mumbai Mirror.

WE are only too happy that movie stars are taking their mental health quite seriously, and we do hope more of them open up about seeking therapy. A young actor with reasonable success, who is separated from his wife, has been seeing a counsellor these days.

His marriage may have been magical and his pretty wife and he the ideal couple, but their separation has hit him hard. He’s learning to cope with a little professional assistance, and we applaud him for that. Meanwhile, how we wish some of our other stars get themselves some help too.

Actor: Imran Khan

A source revealed to us that the content of the note Imran sent was emotional and apologetic. We hear it was more of a sorry note than a wish note- however, it’s unclear that if that sorry was to apologise for a mistake which led to their marriage fall apart, seeking forgiveness or was Imran sorry that the marriage could not work out? We tried contacting Avantika’s mother to confirm about Imran’s gesture, but she didn’t take or return our call till the time of going online.

What’s there to ‘study’ that too in London no less, to work in a bar/restaurant/barista whatever that is. No offense and no disrespect to anyone, but some people have more money than they know what to do with. Mental problems are mostly afflictions of the rich caused by idleness because they don’t have to worry about day to day life like the rest of us. Like they say ‘An idle mind is the devil’s workshop’.

May be she chose London because here(generally in the west) it’s very common to get college courses at any stage of your life, for whatever reason. People will not ask questions like β€˜What is there to study to work in a bar/restaurant’. You study to gain knowledge, may be she wants to manage the finances or wants learn how to run a business or wants to just go study for the sake of it. Either way there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Also it provides more anonymity.

And you have to be a chartered accountant to manage finances in a restaurant I guess. I totally admire anyone who goes back to college at any stage in their life. Only if you say that you are studying to manage a restaurant I feel you are fooling yourself. And no, even in India there is no stigma attached to studying late in life. In fact its like becoming a fad and people appreciate.

It is good to see Imran taking charge of the situation and trying to work on solution.
