Bollywood Blind Item – February 2019 – 2

There was a blind item the week before from Rajeev Masand. In it, he was talking about a famous head honcho, who has been on a mission to clear his name from the #MeToo allegations. It is ridiculous. At this point, we are sure he spent more money paying off his victims and other people involved than he did on these countless videos on his channel. Back to Rajeev’s blind, we knew there was another guess that day but the girl in this blind item might just be the Guess in Rajeev’s blind item.

From Mumbai Mirror, this blind item speaks about this girl who became famous as a dancer. Actually, she did not become famous as a dancer, she was pushed to become famous and it was in one of this head honchos videos that it happened. We said a while back how he produces countless of videos that feature random girls in it. After his #MeToo allegations, you can put 1 and 1 together. In his case, it’s more than one. And, what is his deal with remaking classics? He is remixing classics and ruining them! Whatever anyone says, we still like the classic and original version better. Only ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha’ seems to have a nice touch in it, so the reinvention was nice to listen to. Thankfully, that was not from his channel.

Coincidentally, the day Mumbai Mirror releases this blind item, proof comes out. At the same time, the news came out that this head honcho has signed this dancing girl to an exclusive contract. She will be in his songs and movies, all of which will be produced by his company. Wonder if his wife will direct any of that? Husband and wife always working together to fool entertain people. So, who knows?!

Like we mentioned above, this girl has been around for a while now but she only shot to fame last year through the remix of a hit classic. The remix version was nothing extra. How it became this famous is, the producer spent a lot of money on the video and on promoting it. This includes, pushing the song out to be played and to gain some kind of momentum among the viewers and listeners.

Now we are wondering whether seeing her ex getting hitched and becoming the center of attention struck a nerve with her. So suddenly, she decided she was not going to be left behind and decided to do something about her situation. Hopefully, she knows what she is doing since she just signed a deal with one of the most vicious people in the industry. Just ask Sonu Nigam!

Check out the blind item below from Mumbai Mirror. The irony is, this BI fits the news to the T!

    Bollywood Blind Item

    Bollywood Blind Item – January 2019 – 22

A rising young star, whose performance in a popular song from last year took her all over the world, is being mentored by one of the industry’s leading producers. One would think that she is a lucky girl. But the problem is that the said gent is taking such a keen interest in her career, the two are perennially in meetings. Now, now, don’t get any naughty ideas — the guy could probably be just doling out advice, right?

    1. Off topic …. is Manikarnika break even ? I meant distributors wise ?
Did everyone recover money ? No one is posting any box office updates.

      1. It has already broke even..
But needs 140 crazy in India alone to be declared a hit….76 cr so far..plus 40 cr satellite…over 20 cr overseas..it definitely has recovered it’s budget

      2. @Kiran and @Zain: yes dears, 81 cr domestic and over 40 cr global – it has already crossed 120 cr worldwide. Long live the Queen

    2. Admin you are wrong here saying the DILBAR song was plain and got hit bcz of promotions.. Genuinly The Song was the lit.. everything was perfect.. the Song itself, voice, Nora’s Dance, Beats, Energy everything was just perfect.. we sometimes need to appreciate our talent and credibility too .. maybe seeing her popularity music mogul tried to have a catch along with bit of fun ..
Dont forget it wasnt hit only here .. but worldwide got more love. A bad or mediocre song cant reach the heights even if being promoted well and over rated.. Think Admin

      1. I actually have to agree with you. The song was lit 🔥 and she did an excellent job. I felt John was a bit too pervy

      2. Agree. Laila Main Laila and Dilbar Dilbar are two well done remixes. The original wasn’t that big a hit ( or was it?) but the remix was awesome. the song was so catchy even with Neha Kakkar in it.

Can anybody tell me why neha Kakkar gets all these hit songs? I can’t be the only one who thinks she ruins the songs with her super annoying voice.

      3. Thanks NARS.
And yes the original was Blockbuster and Catchy too on that time, which made Sushmita star. I still remeber watching Sush in black dress waving at some place mountain like and what its charm was. So the pressure even gets triple and more on new Remix song.
Also Neha Kakkar is bad( i really mean it) at romantic songs. Her husky Voice which is different like a Naughiness in voice is perfect for Peppy song along with remix tune, which is very soothing and pleasureable.. so yeah remix party nd energy songs are NEHA’s forte..

    3. I still don’t get the charm about that dilbar song(remix) . I think Jacqueline can do that dance better than nora. Hope she knows what she is signing up for.

      1. I don’t either Amanda. I also thought the whole belly dancer aspect of the choreography was a mismatch. I so miss the old school Bollywood choreography with classical Indian dancing aspect to it, . But I guess we no longer have a Sridevi, Madhuri, Aishwarya to pull it off. Sometimes I burst out laughing when I see actresses/dancers dance a whole song with zero expression on their face. That was half the fun of Bollywood dances!
