Not much has been said about this film, but the fact that it is still shooting and reshooting has definitely got people wondering what is going on. There was a blind item earlier this year or late last year that mentioned about something similar.

It can’t be that they have been shooting for that long, going here and there, and only now the producer realize that he is running out of money or that the movie is going way out of budget?! It could be he couldn’t get the financing that he was looking for. All that dancing at rich people’s weddings!

 

Since there’s no concrete date set for this film’s release, there’s still a long way to go and a lot of more money to be spent. All of this could have been avoided if they planned carefully. From the moment, this project was announced everyone knew this was going to be an expensive film. And on top of that, they announced that this would be a trilogy meaning they have 3 films in mind.

Let’s not forget how they announced that this is some sort of superhero film and that this actor will be playing the superhero. 3 years have passed now since its original releasing date and the actor has gone through different looks, he doesn’t look the same as he did 3 or 4 years ago. How will they manage to have that continuity in this film? It almost sound like this actor’s other film where he was supposed to be a young man and the movie ended up being in production for more than 3 years. At the end of the film, he looked different because at that time he was also working on that sugarcoated biopic of a troubled senior actor.

Lastly, the director is only 2 films old. How was he going to handle such a massive project? No wonder they needed to kickstart the rumors to get people’s attention away from how long this movie is taking. At this rate, they might even get the wedding planning started when the film is nearing release.

Film Delayed Is Film Denied

A top producer has reportedly slashed further spending on an ambitious film he’s producing because the project—as promising as it may be—has gone beyond the point where it may be financially viable.

The movie has been on the floor for three years now and there is already the concern it could start sounding like ‘an old film’ as it’s been extensively tracked by the industry and the media since it was announced.

With its budget ballooning considerably, the film may be fast becoming a risky proposition, thereby creating some panic in the producer’s office. So while the producer hasn’t stopped all cash flow into the still-shooting opus, he has asked the director to make some cuts. Plans to shoot the current schedule overseas were reportedly rejigged to film on local shores.

There’s still a lot of anticipation for the film among fans, thanks in no small part to the exciting casting. But it’s still far away from completion, and with a big chunk of the fee expected to go towards post production, rumor has it that the producer doesn’t want to incur any more lavish expenditure on the shoot.
