This whole “the girl can’t act” thing is a trick to make you believe that. They said the same thing about many other films and actresses, but it didn’t turn out to be true. It’s like they are lowering expectations so when the movie comes out, you will be nicely surprised.

But think about it? This girl has already been shooting her films for a while now. You think if she couldn’t act, the directors didn’t see it? Or at least, leak it? Well, let’s just wait and see the trailer. For all we know, they tricked us into believing that Sridevi’s daughter couldn’t act as well. She was good.
