Bollywood Blind Item 6 – April 2018

As if things can’t get worst for this producer and her production company, it has! Based on the new reports coming in in the forms of blind items, things are getting worst in public for this production company. Unlike other production companies that have gone bankrupt or in financial trouble, this production house is just not accepting that they are in trouble. It’s perfectly fine, it’s not like they owe anyone on the outside an explanation but if they do want to keep their problems really quiet, they stop these blind items from coming out.

The only way to do that is to settle everyone’s fees. Hard to think that they have only been in business for three years, but it’s not that hard to see that they tried to do more than they should. Also, they should have gotten better deals for themselves instead of being awed that big stars are working with them!

Check out the blind item from DNA and PinkVilla.

Crew members yet to receive their full dues from this producer

The producer recently gave a hit which was based on social issues and acquired a profit of Rs 16 crore. However, the producer has not paid the dues of the crew members including the cinematographer who is yet to receive their full dues.

The easy to talk to producer has been assuring her creditors and saying, “Your money will come.” This, however, had not amused those who are yet to receive their payments.

It’s gotten so bad that a senior technician has headed to the association to file a complaint.

Producer: Prerna Arora

Hit: PadMan

KriArj Entertainment, which was founded in 2016 by Prerna Arora, is making headlines but for all wrong reasons. After delivering hit movies like Rustom, Toilet Ek Prem Katha, PadMan and Pari, the production house seems to be in a big mess.

It all started with the movie Kedarnath when reports of the production house backing out came in. That issue got resolved and then came in John Abraham’s Parmanu. John Abraham’s JA Entertainment terminated its collaboration with KriArj and announced a new date for the release of Parmanu – The Story Of Pokhran. This was followed by John accusing KriArj of defaulting on payments. Reports now suggest that John Abraham has filed three criminal complaints against Prernaa Arora and KriArj Entertainment for cheating, breach of trust, defamation and offences committed under the Information Technology Act.

However Prernaa refuted all such claims and accused JA Entertainment of trying to evade a legally binding contract. The latest we hear is that Kyta Productions, which co-produced Pari, has also terminated three films deal with KriArj. If the reports are to be believed, even the shoot of Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor- starrer Batti Gul Meter Chalu has also been stalled.
