This married actor refuses to lock lips on the big screen
Locking lips on the big screen and getting intimate with the co-star is a very common thing in Bollywood. But there are many stars who aren’t comfortable doing so. While for some it is about their image, for some it’s to avoid issues in their personal life. Same is the case with this married Bollywood actor, who refused to shoot a kissing scene in his recently released film. Though the actor has shot for intimate sequences in films that he did before marriage, now he doesn’t want to do these things fearing what his wife will say. That apart, he also doesn’t want his daughter to indulge into some passionate moments with different men.
So when the script demanded him to lock lips with the leading lady of his film, the gentleman politely refused and requested the director and the producer to edit the script. Naturally, the producer and the director were surprised by this demand because the kissing scene formed a crucial moment in the movie.
However, this married star refused to budge, forcing the film’s team to get away with the scene. While we aren’t sure how much of the drama did the married actor save up on back home, clearly on the professional front not all are happy with his decision, especially given the fact that the Mrs never bothered to restrict herself and did all that the role demanded!

Just came here after reading the whole Tanu incident with that jerk Nana. Can’t help but think how decent a man AB Jr is. Not once have we heard even a whiff or rumour of him misbehaving with women or having an affair. Such a decent guy despite being his father’s son.
He probably learnt a lesson from watching his mother suffer for years because of his father’s infidelity. Especially as the media is fond of revisiting his father’s affair with Rekha and painting it like some epic incomplete love story. No wonder Jaya is always angry.
It’s no surprise as children are affected by what they see growing up. Especially children that grew up in Bollywood
The boys either become married or unmarried cheats themselves (e.g. Aamir, Salman) or grow to have a strong dislike for unfaithfulness (Abhishek so far).
The girls either come to feel it’s normal for a man to cheat (e.g. Twinkle, Kajol) or they hate the concept of marriage as they come to resent their mothers for suffering in silence. Some even choose to be the other woman as they watched their mothers suffer and decide they don’t want to be their mothers.
It takes great work for any two people who grew up in such environment to come to love and trust each other.
It’s also possible Abhishek wouldn’t dare cheat on Aishwarya as she might divorce him and take half of his wealth. Just saying.
oh please. People who keep saying Aishwarya hasn’t kissed anyone onscreen or done any intimate scenes. She did that movie Shabd with Sanjay Dutt! And also kissed Vivek Oberoi is some movie didn’t she?

Bebo and Saif used to have a no kissing clause in their contracts but not anymore. I remember around Ki and Ka release time she gave interviews saying that they no more have such restrictions and if the role demands both of them will do kissing scenes. In Ki and Ka she had kissing scenes with Arjun. It was a very hot topic back then. I have not watched a Saif or Kareena’s movie in recent times but some commentators on pv said he did a kissing scene in Kaalakandi, his latest release. Even Rangoon had one I think? I remember Kangy being asked in interviews about kissing scenes with Saif and Shahid in the movie.
This sound like AbhiAsh. And that shade about the wife not restricting herself and doing all what the role demand was totally uncalled for. Abhishek must have been aware and ok with the ADHM scenes for her to do them, why the shade. I would say his family’s interference in their lives cause problems in their lives more than AbhiAsh’s own doing. Ash has the decency to show up at family events like Shweta’s clothing launch (eventhough it is clear that they don’t get along) yet in recent times the Bachchan rarely supports her in public.

He probably did not do it because then it gives his wife a free pass to say he if you can then i can. his “sanskari” family would not be able to deal with that equality discussion. Daughter is an excuse a very lame one. I mean if they had a problem with the half baked so called intimate scenes that ash did with RK in ae dil, kikss toh jaan nikaal dega bacchan khandan ka.
Aradhya will kiss if she has to kiss regardless of what her parents do on screen. His argument makes zero sense. I think the parents underestimate the intelligence of their children or take audience for fools. Abhishek needs to try other reasons for not doing the kissing scene. Professionalism demands that he does it. Rest his choice. But he needs to stop using his daughter to justify something he doesn’t want to do because of image consciousness(off course advised by pr managers). Got nothing to do with how children will grow up.
I guessed Saif. (Haven’t watched any of his recent work, so wouldn’t know if he has hasn’t kissed.) But why would AB Jr. be worried about his little daughter kissing other men? She is so smol beans. Saif has Sara. And back when saifeena got married they did say something about not doing intimate scenes with other ppl. Mirror carried the story, I guess.

May be it is not a perfect marriage, but both of them have no reason to separate and surely they are comfortable with each other. Abhishek may not be hugely successful but he s a good person. At the end of the day, that’s what will matter to Aishwarya because in Bollywood I think the only thing which is hard to get is a faithful spouse. That surely is a big deal. Now who knows exactly how Abhishek is, but that’s what I think.
