Blind Items – December 2020

The blind items below have nothing to do with the world of Bollywood. These are about cricket and the latest happenings. If you are interested to read blind items and know cricket, these are for you. Since we have no clue who these are about, feel free to drop your hints in the comment section below.

THE Yo-Yo mark has been the yardstick for fitness for India’s cricket players. Since Virat Kohli took over, this requirement has been kept at level; the idea being that a batsman has to be fit enough to take a third run while batting on 120, and a pacer has to be in a position to run enough to stop a boundary in the third session of play. But this player, quite an influential one, has not come near the minimum mark. Does this mean he hasn’t been selected? Nope, he is quite a regular in the team.

THIS rather well-known sportsman has escaped a major controversy, we are told. He returned a little early from a tournament recently, announcing he was recusing himself from playing for personal reasons. However, it turns out he was sent home as a disciplinary action. The young man had invited some unsolicited guests over to his hotel room and was, well, caught in the act. Unsurprising, as gentlemen are hardly ever so.
