Blind Item – September – Bollywood – 2018 2

The blind item below is similar to an old blind item posted about another actress. In that blind item, it was said that this actress got a bit too arrogant and impatient after her films were declared big hits at the box office. She was the lead actress in these two hit films. So, it can be a mere consequence or they have actually rehashed the old blind item because why the hell not?! From SpotBoye, this blind item talks about how this actress has turned bratty to her staff.

To be fair, this might be a fresh blind item since it is mentioned that she has been trying her luck in Bollywood for a while now. She has been in Bollywood for a while, but she has managed to be successful. Just not successful enough for anyone to feel threaten by her. She is just like Irrfan Khan, they are both talented and do their own thing. No one really is bothered by their hits. It’s nice, though, that this girl has managed to come this far. We still remember watching her years ago in a Telugu film called ‘Mr. Perfect’ alongside Kajal Agarwal and Prabhas. She was new back then and this was years ago.

What else to say about this? It’s not really a case of these girls getting too big in their head, it’s more of them realising that they now have a bigger pressure and stress to choose the right projects and have another hit. Usually, when you feel this way who else can you throw that on? The people around you, that’s who.

Check out the blind item below from SpotBoye.

Success Ke Side Effects: This Newly Popular Actress Is Extremely Rude To Her Staff

This actress is unable to handle her new popularity. Otherwise, what would explain her bratty attitude towards her staff?

This actress has come up the hard way with her Bollywood journey replete with setbacks. However, finally, she seems to have found her feet in the glamour world. But like they say, not everyone can handle success successfully’. And this actress is the perfect example.

She has been riding high on the positive response of her recent films and looks like success has gone to her head. We hear, she has been talking extremely rudely to her staff and as expected, they have been exchanging notes on this damsel’s behaviour. While it has become a day-to-day phenomenon, they know that it is happening because of the lady’s new found success. However, what’s a star without her team. Isn’t it? Looks like, the actress will learn it the hard way. Lady, Bollywood is a game of glorious uncertainties.

I was guessing tapsee too! She seems the arrogant type!

    1. A girl who speaks up is arrogant and rude,a guy who speaks up is confident and assertive.Dont we all face this at our workplace ladies ? Why will bollywood be any different

      1. can I add? a girl who says she thinks will be necessarily declared a brute, arrogant, gold-digger and thirsty for attention. A male who says he wants to, will certainly be honest and with a great sense of humor. all those who do not understand his humor – are boring idiots. you can talk about equality of males and females as much as you like, but the difference in attitude towards them is obvious

    2. On a side note, I loved how someone mentioned in comments that Devdas is Ash film. Finally. Yes, srk hammed in it and Madhuri didn’t fit in that fort.

I have a perception, method actors work well under SLB, maybe I’m wrong. But the examples of Madhuri, Deepika, Ranbir not being able to give their best under him makes me think so. On the other side we have Ranveer, Ash, PC who are more expressive actors and depend on acting techniques. (Not intending as offense, just observation. I have respect for both styles of acting).

By the way it’s really unfair when you discredit a woman who has given success after success for last four years continuously. You obviously know what Deepika brings on table, be it opposite superstars or great actors, is not on the same range as a Katrina or Kareena or Anushka. Be it star value wise or talent wise.

And as for films Deepika carried on shoulder, there’s Piku – the film is hers totally despite having two legends opposite her. Also Chennai Express where we went in expecting an Srk film and came out as Meenamma fan. Also Finding Fanny was her responsibility that faltered, I concede.

Then there’s HNY, the film which still has the biggest opener record, which even Bahubali couldn’t break. It was bz of two superstars coming together after a smashing hit in CE. If you can credit it as Srk success, then so is it for Deepika. Just like how Varun recently said, HSKD, BKD etc are Alia’s hits as much as it is his. It’s a two way road.

Also Cocktail was shouldered by her alone once it released. Yes she wasn’t a big star back then, but once the reviews started pouring in, we went in expecting a Deepika show and it was. Then there’s Ramleela which released as Deepika Padukone film with her new lover (that’s how it was talked about in South where Rs was not popular).

There’s YJHD which was shouldered by the break up couple equally. It was Deepika’s responsibility and success as much as it was Ranbir’s tho he was a bigger star than her with commercial success.

Bajirao Mastani got hyped bz of the trio of Slb – Dp – Rs coming together after Ramleela success. It was shouldered by all three equally. Plus let’s not forget Deepika and Priyanka was paid more than the lead actor in that film. Rs was surely rising but Dp and PC were established superstars.

Padmavati also was marketed by her name. But more than the marketing and what was in the film, I’d say the film was LITERALLY carried by her b.s. of how she dealt with the controversy. There are two A list actors, a great director, Ambani as producers but she literally carried the weight of the film during its trying times. For that alone I’d say she carried Padmavati. Also let’s not forget she brought in five crore worth jewellery deal into the film. How her brand value increased after Padmavati with Jio etc. I mean if businessmen really thought she couldn’t carry a film alone or she’s feeding off others, will they give her access to heights?

Of all the films she held responsibility, I feel Finding Fanny and Xxx in India failed at Bo. Though there are reasons for the failure, just like she has right to the success of a film, she has responsibility for the failure of these two films. Tell that and I.’ll accept. Not if you discredit a woman of her decade long career’s hard work.

      1. Jesus….Deepika is not more talented than kareena….Just picked better roles…What’s up with this site n the deepika worshipping…n Chennai express was a terrible movie… Every one involved were terrible…Just hamming…Cocktail was tailored to make it a deepika movie…The other actress was made to look like a cardboard piece with no good dialogues…It was ridiculous.. Padmavat was regressive with deepika playing the same stoic roles that slb gives her…N as a woman…She doesnt seem to get along with any other female leads…just seems very mans woman type…She has a ruthless pr agency…She threw sonam under the bus after using sonams support on kwk to bitch about her cheating bf…Has no self respect when it comes to ranbir…It like deepika singlehandedly is responsible for half his overconfidence with women…Coz she indulges him so…All the freaking time…Over her current bf…Talks like a really boring person in.interviews…There is too much riding on looks n dancing talent there..Although her acting has improved over the years…But to praise her to the skies over other actresses is bs…

    3. Honestly I feel this is from Kjo again. Isn’t the pattern always there. The moment an outsider hits the success basket, blinds pop out. Have we ever got an inkling of how Alia treats her staff? Even if we get one, it’s going to be positive story. We all know it’s going to be like this.

I don’t know if Tapsee or Bhumi or Karthik are what these blinds are saying. But I’d definitely give them benefit of doubt bz this broke out after they tasted success and there’s Kjo alive in the industry.

    4. chic comment! I had never thought about why negative articles about Kanganа became public, while positive ones pass very quietly, without any attention. now it is clear to me. all this is a planned dirty PR game of competitors (

    5. I think Tapsee is very confident in herself as she should be. Why not? She can out act the pants of many of these “male superstars”. I feel women always don’t get their due in Bollywood. Devdas was Aishwarya Rai’s film, she literally carried it while SRK hammed away and Madhuri underwhelmed. I can’t really think of a film Deepika carried solo… so far she’s always acted alongside really good male actors (Saif, Irfaan, Ranveer, Ranbir) and so her films have all (mostly) worked other than the Happy New Year of the lot. The only one that wasn’t as good as her usual was Paadmavati but she was never paired opposite Ranveer in the film so she didn’t do well. But Deepika has never carried a film. Manmarziyaan was Tapsee’s film – she carried that film and even Abhishek acknowledged that stating that she shouldn’t forget them when she got all the awards. Vicky and Abhishek were both good too but the audience connected with her. Also I do think this is all KJo. “He has a deep rooted hatred for anyone talented that is not Aliaa Bhatt. He probably feeds the media with blind gossip items and in return gets glowing coverage for his “children”. Re: Taapsee – I do think her smiley personality is a bit fake but that doesn’t really matter at the end of the day. The only newcomer I don’t like is Bhumi, she really thinks she’s something special but hasn’t acted well enough to act that way yet. Compare Bhumi to Kangana or Radhika or Taapsee and she’s nothing.

    6. The industry is so sexist eh. So she gets a lil popularity and maybe her attitude has changed a bit. It could be more work, responsibilities and stress. But insiders only like to use words like tantrum, attitude, big for her boots, bitch, diva, etc. While on the other hand men are treated like Gods.

Look at the incident with Nana Patekar and Tanushree Dutta. It was all in the public. He got a mob to destroy her car. A simple film set and item song can never be a big enough issue for mobs to come, esply in a film studio. He insulted and disrespected and lied it was just rehearsals – she was in full costume but they actually said it was only rehearsals! LOL – and all of Bollywood supported him. Nana also has a huge bungalow in Goa, German cars and an alcohol problem but he is treated and portrayed as a saint. It is not fair!

Recently a crew member tweeted about Kangana’s performance as a director on the sets of Manikarnika – only Miss Malani picked it up. Why? It was positive! The industry and media is only willing to destroy and stamp on the girls and I think its because the hate a woman that is more than an object of sexual desire!

      1. 100%. The media rarely picks up positive news about her. Around August 21, there was some Twitter activity about Kangana’s interview with Anita Rani and Manikarnika’s filming being featured on the acclaimed BBC’s documentary on Bollywood. Poeple outside know very well about it due to internation coverage. But none of the Indian media outlets covered this news! Compare this to the hype that other insiders’ inane comments receive. Guess when the media started circulating negative stories about Kangana and Manikarnika’s being reshot, Sonu Sood’s melodrama? August 22!! Someone’s (insiders) PR is working a strong negative campaign against Kangana and at this stage its obvious they are doing evrything they can to destroy her! So hats off to Kangana for standing up against this nepotistic and misogynistic industry.

Also, more power to Taapsee but she is not that great. And her acting/role in Manmarziyan constantly reminded me of Tanu Manu movies where Kangana was amazing AF!

      2. @Nars: 100%. Someone’s (insiders) PR is working a strong negative campaign against Kangana and at this stage its obvious they are doing everything they can to destroy her! So hats off to Kangana for standing up against this nepotistic and misogynistic industry. She is way more talented than the people who suck up to the insiders for work.

Also, more power to Taapsee but she is not that great. She did well but her acting/role in Manmarziyan constantly reminded me of Tanu Manu movies where Kangana was amazing AF!

    7. There is something about Tapsee that I just dont like. Her overly smiling face that just shouts fake to me. I honestly hate seeing her on fashion blogs. Maybe it is just me, but she surely rubs me the wrong way. Another who have gotten too big for her pants is Bhumi. It is all in her head that hey I lost so much weight I should be the top actress. She has become very full of herself. I really dont like commenting about these girls because in my book they are nobodys.

    8. @Admin- could this again be by Kjo who is tryin to nip a budding talent from the bud? why is it after someone tastes success a deluge of blinds about them come out?

    9. the first – I do not think Taapsee is talented, let alone in comparison with Irfan. second – successful? maybe with great help Akshay (earlier the administrator himself claimed it) and the third. I do not see any arrogance. When males behave aggressively and rudely, then the insiders are fine with that, the media is OK with that. Males are allowed to do everything and this will not sound rude, but God forbid the female will defend her rights and show the character! she will immediately be called brutal and arrogant. I finally lose any interest in Bollywood, I hate double standards!

      1. Finally someone who thinks she isn’t all that. I like her in the sense that she isn’t a star kid and went through a journey to get where she is. But she is an okay actress. Not great. Not bad either. Pink was luck. I felt that Amitabh carried the film. There is something about her dialogue delivery that’s just off. It is off with most actresses. But I agree. Ki Bhai ka tashan is tashan. Kisi behen ne kia to galat. Though I commend OSOP for trashing ’em all equally. But the sources of these blinds need to first realise their a blinded by sexism.
