Blind Item – October 2018

This film came and went without much fanfare. It got great reviews from other celebrities, but critics didn’t think it was that great. When they released the trailer, it sort of had the whole storyline in in. This seems to be the thing these days, to just tell people the storyline. So from the trailer itself, people can decide whether they want to watch the film or not.

It is a little surprising that it flopped, but no one is even more shocked than the director of this film. In some ways, it is bad for him and for this film, he even composed the music. The blind item below is by Mumbai Mirror and according to them, he is really upset and disappointed that his latest venture didn’t find the right audience. The blind item seems to be talking about him because there is a reference to both the film and the music tanking.

Check it out below. Are you one of the small audience that went to see this film? By the way, the young actress in this film waited a long time to get a film and it’s sad that it didn’t work out, but she has another film up for release soon so hope it works out.

THE music composer of a recent film is rather distraught. The film’s soundtrack was a labour of love, and one that he was extremely proud of. But surprisingly, the film tanked, and its music wasn’t up to scratch either. Now, we hear, the composer has taken a sabbatical. He has moved to a foreign country for a couple of months, just to travel and heal his wounds. We do hope he will be back soon, with more songs in his heart. We are all ears for whatever he has to offer.

Another Thundering Flop For Vishal Bhardwaj

Pataakha is Bhardwaj’s fifth flop in a row. His earlier works 7 Khoon Maaf and Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola were resounding flops. Even the highly regarded Haidar did not make any profits.
