Blind Item – March 2018 – Bollywood 6

Many readers have asked us about the actress featured in the blind item below. It’s like she has this small group of fans, who want to know more about her. Whenever there’s a blind item that speaks of her, she is always described as “pretty”, “beautiful”, “porcelain skin” or “attractive”. That is the range from which they chose the words to describe her. We are only highlighting this because no other actress gets this kind of description in blind items.

The blind item today is about this actress and how she bagged another film by this famous and well-respected director. It is surprising considering how she didn’t get that many positive feedback about her role the first time she worked with him. What she did is a good and clean business tactic, so good for her for thinking of ways to get lead roles. Even in Bollywood, they don’t really give out lead roles to her, so it’s good that she knew when to target other film industries. At her age, we assume that the hustle is going to be harder. Still it’s good for her, she’s creating her own opportunities with very smart marketing skills.

About this director, what can we say? His films used to be in vogue, as in when his films used to come out they were big deals. Those days, there was no internet and no CDs or DVDs; it was all on VHS tapes or you had to go to the cinemas to see it. Every time his films in the 90s released, everyone would be talking about it. It was groundbreaking during these times. The terrorism angle, Muslim-Hindu marriage and so on. Let’s not forget he also introduced to the world the talent of this musician, who went on to become one of the greatest music directors in India; he also happens to be the most expensive music director in India, in case you are looking to hire his services!

Anyways, for a long time now the director has been trying to please today’s generation by adapting to their sensibilities. His latest movies now have become very alien to us and we don’t really get it. Even though his film before the one starring this actress was a huge hit (it was a flop remake in Hindi), we couldn’t see his magic touch in the film. It’s like he doesn’t have his signature or his touch anymore. Back in those days, you could watch a film and say that this is his film. It’s not the case anymore! Maybe he’s doing all he can to still be the great filmmaker that he is known to be. That must be really frustrating for him to live up to his own hype!

Check out today’s blind item from Mumbai Mirror.

Bollywood Blind Item

THIS attractive actor, who plays the part of a naïve nymph to the hilt, seems to have landed herself a pretty neat package in the south. She has been signed on for two films with a legendary filmmaker. While everyone is scratching their head wondering how she managed this coup, we are willing to tell. She’s made besties with the filmmaker’s niece, hired her as her stylist for her several ribbon-cuttings, and has made her way into the filmmaker’s camp. We think it’s such a clever move — you get great parts and great clothes, too.
