Blind Item – February 2018 3

Barbie dolls are what kids play with. As they grow up, they let go of these toys and pick up something else. These days, it’s more like phones they pick up instead of a sport or a real hobby, but that besides the point. Point is, they tired of playing these Barbie dolls and turn to something else with more life in it. There are still people, though, who enjoy their collection of Barbie from all over the world. Frankly, we never played with one Barbie when we were little. They looked freaky with their fake wide smile and dead-looking eyes, we preferred teddy bears or any other furry animal. And these people, who underwent a million of plastic surgery procedures to look like these Barbie dolls, ruined it for everyone.

Blind Item – February 2018 3

The blind item today is by Mumbai Mirror and is about an actor, he’s not a Ken doll but is referred to as one. As it is, everyone saw it from a distance; everyone, except him and his mentor. They saw how his films would not work at the box office because he alone cannot make the audience come to theatres to see him ‘act’. His talent is known, so we have to wonder why filmmakers hire him to work in their films, especially heavy films that require acting from the performers. If the audience knows it, then don’t the filmmakers and producers know it? At least, get the guy do some workshop or have an acting coach or something.

We don’t know why everyone close to this filmmaker thinks that he is the right person to go to for advice on their career. He himself doesn’t know anymore, which is why he has been doing other things and just shooting arrows with his eyes closed. When you are drowning, someone else comes and asks you for help, what are you going to say? It’s not hard to see why the filmmaker did what he did. He has realised that the dude is not going to work due to his non-existent talent. Also, he doesn’t have the money anymore to produce movies for his favourites. He has to sell the actors to other movie productions. Sell as in convince the producers why these actors that he is recommending are good for the film.

Mumbai Mirror got one detail wrong in their blind item. It’s not 5 back to back movies because these movies didn’t come one after the other. Check out the blind item below to see what we are talking about. Let’s just wait and see what this actor manages to do to get more films.

Bollywood Blind Item

Blind Item – February 2018 3

AFTER five back-to-back flops, this good-looking but obviously luck-less actor recently ran back to his mentor asking for another film. The mentorβ€”the kind and large-hearted soul that he isβ€”heard him out patiently. Then he said he had no film for him, and couldn’t help him out any more professionally. Now with the big-ticket guru gone, love life outta the window, and selling films via rumoured romances not working at all, our handsome hero is looking for new career tricks. Oops.

Karan is kind and large hearted soul- rofl.. Must be another blind planted by Kjo himself to show people that he helped a non-star/ non-nepo kid (but we know the benefits Kjo got in return from Sid) out of the kindness of his heart. But had to give up on him because he cannot keep on sinking his money producing flops with an unbankable actor. Kjo did try to help a non-star kid, people! It is not his fault the actor failed!! Lol!

At the end of the day star kids/ nepo kids are the people who will get Karan’s unconditional support and love regardless of their failures. Casting the flop and unbankable Ranbir as a lead in an ambitious, big budget fantasy trilogy prove my point. Ranbir’s previous big budget movies Bombay velvet, Jagga Jasoos were box office disasters (made even less money than movies declared as flops yet Karan gave him three movies on a platter).

    • nefarious says:

I think also now that he has two kids to think about, he cant indulge his non performers toy boys. the fact that he signed on ranbir is more about ranbirs talent and well, ranbir still has a fan base, cant say that about Sid.

      • Monalisa says:

Ranbir is talented but he is not a bankable star. He does not have the star power of a SRK, Aamir, Salman or Akshay. From the younger lot only Varun seem to be the most bankable star with a near perfect box office record. Most producers will think twice before they invest such a huge amount and most probably will not risk to (given his past big budget debacles) to invest such a big budget on a RK starrer. But for some reason Karan is taking that risk with Ranbir and n0t Sid. If Bramshatra was a medium budget movie I would have agreed with your thinking but big budget movies are sold mostly on star power of actors. That is why even when the scripts of big budget movies are crap they become huge blockbusters.

        • nefarious says:

I realised maybe we are both wrong. Kjo is probably more confident about ayan than ranbir, Given that Ayan wont do a film without Ranbir, Kjo had no choice but to invest in that ranbir. But am sure he wont be paying Alia a fat cheque for this one. πŸ˜› The guys’s gonna try and save as much as he can πŸ™‚

Karan only has a ” kind and large-hearted soul ” for nepo-kids,NOT outsiders, even if it is his own steady BF!His soul was tainted a long-time ago,it’s just that his fairy-tale prince hasn’t been doing that well and he wants to cover up his behind by shilling these unnecessary blinds!”kind and large-hearted soul”ROFL Who does he think he is Salman!Drama Queen

  3. Pooja says:

Ek villain was offered to arjun kapoor mohit suri’s 1st choice then kjo uses his friendship linkage convinced ekta kapoor(producer of film)to sign sid.adi is way more good looking n better actor but he is sitting home from release of OK jaanu.it make me sad.this nepo kids always get films.kjo or manish manhotra will find Bali ka bakra.

    • Manisha says:

I don’t see the hype in Aditya Roy Kapoor – yes he is handsome but he’s a nepo kid too no? He’s brother’s a big guy at UTV so he can certainly use him to his advantage like the rest of these kids. Plus his first movie was in 2009 – since then only a handful of so-so roles and movies. He doesn’t seem motivated imo and I think his time has passed.

      • Amanda says:

Aditya Roy kapoor is fit for drunkard type of roles like ashique 2 or yeah jawani hai deewani…. He got too many opportunities but was not impactful in any of those…. Now he doesn’t seem keen to fight it out.. He is not a star type material neither a character artist

      • nefarious says:

yeah Adi always seems casual about things. he lacks the drive to succeed. maybe acting isnt his passion who knows.

  4. Pav says:

@nefarious yeah it’s a part of her movie promotion I guess. But their latest pic on Instagram looks kind of cute for me.
On a different note I really would like to know you all option about Bhumi. I happened to watch some of her interviews and by the way she talks and how people appreciate her, I was under the impression that she must be a good actress. Then I downloaded her movies and watched. Maybe my expectations were too high , I didn’t find anything special about her acting. Her movie choices are different for sure but she’s an average actress

    • Amanda says:

Yes, bhoomi is average actress… She was assistant for casting director shanoo sharma… Both parineeti and bhoomi who worked for yashraj now act in yashraj films… I want to ask bhoomi how she lost that weight so quickly… Because for me to shed those extra kilos through natural methods took quite a while…

      • Rashmi says:

By its nature, BhΠΎΠΎmi is rather slender, for her debut she gained a lot of kilograms, but then quickly got rid of them because of nature she has a slender proportion. she talked about this in some kind of interview

        • Amanda says:

But, shanoo sharma said she never thought an overweight bhoomi would become an actress.. But when this role came, they felt looked apt for it… Shanoo keeps bragging of all the successful launches… Not sure who is speaking the truth..

Also when someone gains weight especially those many, people struggle to lose it… Even if they were slim before… Anushka shetty is still struggling with weight loss after she gained 20kgs for size zero… Hoping bhoomi has taken natural route to weight loss….

          • Rashmi says:

ShanΠΎΠΎ charmΠ° completely deceive, BhΠΎΠΎmi said many times that she was slim before the debut, but this role required a large set of weight and she scored, and then broomed into her natural size. as for the surprise as with a lot of weight can become an actress, why Miss Sharma has forgotten Sonam Alia sonakshi or Bebo? can it be that they are star kids and Bhoomi is an outsider?

          • Pav says:

I think it’s difficult to lose weight in 4 months irrespective of your structure is towards being slim or heavy. I’m sure her changed happened with little bit of everything. Dieting, gym, medical support.
Also, if she was slim prior becoming an actress, it’s difficult to believe Shano will make such comments.

      • prvilla says:

@Amanda Actually has lot’s to do with will-power and stamina aswell(oh God I sound so kinky lol) but yeah I lost oodles of wait in two weeks itself by going on a diet, which did not include starving myself! Also it wasn’t anything fancy either just a normal one.Other factors such as family tendency also can play a major role,sometimes..

  5. nefarious says:

Arent y’all nauseated by Virat- Anushka always declaring their love for each other and trying to prove how they are both lucky for each other., Can they pls get over themselves, cos everyone else has!

  6. Anisha says:

But Ittefaq was not a flop…
