While reports suggest the director has roped in his current favourite heroine, a lil’ birdie just told us that another A-list actress has been vying for the lead role.

This actress, who’s known equally for her acting chops as she is for her fashion prowess, has been constantly in touch with the filmmaker in question. Even though she knew that the other actress has been confirmed for the project, she decided to tell him point blank that she wanted the film. However, the talented director was sure of his vision and didn’t think this actress would fit the bill.
