Angela Bassett, Anna Deavere Smith, Morris Chestnut, Nia Long, Sofia Vergara, Mindy Kaling, Modern Family, Vannesa Williams and Kevin Hart are among the 45th Annual NAACP Image Awards Nominations

The 45th Annual NAACP Image Awards and its nominees are different from the other award shows, which is a nice change for once. I’ll be honest and admit right now that I don’t know much about this award show. I know the popular award shows, but the 45th Annual NAACP Image Awards is different from the other just because they have more nominations for black actors and actresses.

    45th Annual NAACP Image Awards

It has been really nice to see Angela Bassett in ‘American Horror Story: Coven’ and I’m glad she’s nominated for her role. I’m also happy for Anna Deavere Smith, who most definitely deserves a nomination for her work in ‘Nurse Jackie’. Also from ‘Nurse Jackie’ with a nomination is Morris Chestnut, who’s by the way very handsome! Check out the nice range of nominees below.
