Do you remember this Filmfare Awards? I vividly do. It was the year that I think Shah Rukh Khan won for best actor and I think it was for ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’. Guess who was also in attendance that night in 1997? None other than the hearthrob of millions today, Ranbir Kapoor. Ranbir attended the event with his mother Neetu Singh and his aunt, who’s sitting next to his mom. I won’t forget to mention Akshaye Khanna was also sitting next to them. This was probably during the ‘Taal’ phase or before it, but I know Akshaye also acted in Rishi Kapoor’s first directorial debut ‘Aa Ab Laut Chalein’, a movie that also starred Aishwarya Rai, and Ranbir was the assistant on that film.
