Akshay Kumar has decided to finally come clean about his citizenship. In a statement released via his Twitter account, Akshay said this:

There is nothing wrong if Akshay is a Canadian, but what is wrong is he lied about it then and said this:
About the Canadian thing, I am an honorary citizen. I’ve been given an honorary thing. I think it’s a thing that people should be proud about. I have an honorary doctorate also but I am not a Doctor. So this is what people have to understand.
Please do tell, Akshay. Why should we be proud?
He’s so foolish that he thought since he was able to con so many girls, he can also con every person living in India!
Of course, people would find out that he ain’t no honorary citizen. He thinks we all have short-term memory and don’t remember what he said before.
The best was when last year, he had the government release a statement saying he was and is Indian and does not hold a Canadian citizenship.
If he carried that lie for so long, why come out now? Is it because his manager, Reshma Shetty, advised him to do so?
Now he better brace himself, more questions are going to come. What we want to know is, why get the citizenship only for himself? Why not for his wife and kids? Was he planning to leave them all in India and settle there by himself? He did, after all, say he is going to retire in Toronto.
Guess this question is now answered!
The most important question, if he is a foreigner, is he allowed to be the recipient of a National Award?
Anyways, now it’s like he is no less than those foreign producers who come to India and use its issues to help further their career and make more money. If he actually did contribute to society, it would be different. But he didn’t!
Now, when will the #MeToo cases against him come out?
Notice with Akshay, how he is the type of man who thinks he can do no wrong and we just have to accept that? It’s like he thinks he can do what he wants, just like when he wanted to “Bajao” this young girl and never came out with an apology. He just kept quiet, even his wife apologised.
So, what’s the deal now? Why come out as a Canadian citizen? Also, why did he hide when all of Bollywood came out to celebrate Canada’s PM visit to India years ago? (Just something we always wondered about)
Akshay always did hide and denied any questions about his citizenship, just like he did in that video with the reporter. If he denied it all these years, he must have truly been ashamed to accept that he is not an Indian!
He should update his statement!
