About the Canadian thing, I am an honorary citizen. I’ve been given an honorary thing. I think it’s a thing that people should be proud about. I have an honorary doctorate also but I am not a Doctor. So this is what people have to understand.
Please do tell, Akshay. Why should we be proud?
He’s so foolish that he thought since he was able to con so many girls, he can also con every person living in India!
Of course, people would find out that he ain’t no honorary citizen. He thinks we all have short-term memory and don’t remember what he said before.
The best was when last year, he had the government release a statement saying he was and is Indian and does not hold a Canadian citizenship.
If he carried that lie for so long, why come out now? Is it because his manager, Reshma Shetty, advised him to do so?
Now he better brace himself, more questions are going to come. What we want to know is, why get the citizenship only for himself? Why not for his wife and kids? Was he planning to leave them all in India and settle there by himself? He did, after all, say he is going to retire in Toronto.
Guess this question is now answered!
The most important question, if he is a foreigner, is he allowed to be the recipient of a National Award?
Anyways, now it’s like he is no less than those foreign producers who come to India and use its issues to help further their career and make more money. If he actually did contribute to society, it would be different. But he didn’t!
Now, when will the #MeToo cases against him come out?

1, If 1984 cancels the Congress, then 2002 cancels the BJP. I’m happy to see both go. Modi may have been acquitted but people in his govt were convicted. You have to be naive to think they set up the apparatus on their own.
2. However, my point was that ’84 was a blot on the Congress and they need to pay; but were Sikhs persecuted for decades after ’84? The BJP still goes after Muslims (you cannot say this is untrue — just listen to Bisht and Modi’s campaign speeches and if you disagree, well you’re not just a BJP supporter but a bhakt).
I know for a lot of people the treatment of Muslims and the rise of gaurakshaks is par for the course if they get a “strong” “incorrupt” leader. I find this thinking repulsive. Disagree with this. While BJP does use the Muslim trope, Congress are worse – they are opportunistic wolves in sheeps clothing with only one agenda -power at any cost. These days they have lost much power is why you don’t see their shenanigans at a larger scale. But at a smaller scale – Mamata Bannerjee is a Congress stooge and what is happening in Bengal is exactly how Congress operates. In Karnataka, Congress played to their ‘divide and rule’ policy when they tried to divide out Lingayaths as a separate religion from Hinduism, insinuating that they needed a special category because they were discriminated against. This was exactly how they fanned the Khalistani movement. BJP fans internal conflict, Congress fans entire terrorist and separatist movements whenever they get a chance and they will do it to anyone.

To call out one community/party for religious intolerance but not acknowledge that the other side is equally if not worse is not a fair argument. Why people and media is making fuss of him being a Canadian? he never deny it . Many celebs like Deepika, Katrina, Alia, Imran khan and list is long holds another nationality. its common these day. Doesn’t common Indians living abroad holds foreign passport? I know many people who have dual nationalities despite living in the country.

India doesnt have dual nationality.
Deepika is Indian and Katrina was always British.
Secondly Indians living abroad generally do so as Indian citizen or in some cases foreign nationality. But when you do the latter you have to give up your indian citizenship as India doesnt allow dual nationality. Once you give you Indian citizenship you can apply for OCI card.
Having another nationality ,doesn’t make him a less Indian. He loves his country like 1000s of Indians living abroad and holding other nationalities. Deepika is not Indian. She was born in Denmark.
@HateKjo For the 100th time, being born out of India doesn’t make you citizen of that country. Not all countries have birth right citizenship, just because US has it do not assume all countries have the same rules. Denmark doesn’t. Deepika is Indian citizen.

Selling and buying a property is far more difficult for a non Indian citizen. So his family can be proxy for that . His family can apply for Canada citizenship any day and get it pretty fast.
