‘Aashiqui 2’ was announced in a big way. You know why? Because the filmmakers of this movie wanted to do things differently this time, they wanted to choose newcomers in the lead roles of this film. They announced publicly that they would choose their lead actors from youtube. So a lot of boys and girls everywhere posted their audition videos. Months past and you know what the makers did? They disregarded all the hard work and anticipation of boys and girls and they went ahead and signed two actors from the film fraternity. And this is how Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor were chosen to play the lead roles in ‘Aashiqui 2’. Though after having seen the trailer and songs, I cannot think of other actors in their roles. But still, they shouldn’t have given hope to all those, who were looking forward to a break with the Bhatts.
