Today’s blind item comes from DNA. It’s about this superstar and what he wants in exchange for him to sign this franchise. First of all, we don’t think this is true. There is no way they will be continuing with this franchise. Some time back, there were reports and also word from the producer’s brother (who also acts in this franchise) that they will be scrapping the whole franchise and start from scratch. This means taking away these two characters, who have been part of this film for a long time now.
Things have changed for both of these actors since they were first cast in this franchise. But as far as this production house go, they would be stupid to take this superstar in this franchise. Just look at what he did to his recently released film, which was part of a successful franchise too. It seems as if these days if he takes control of a film, he gets to decide everything. He decides who he wants to offer jobs to. It’s like he is human resource manager or something. He has people to fill every slot needed and he will even get a special singer from Romania, who only sings for herself and him because the rest of us ain’t got a glue on what her deep singing voice is trying to say!
But, let’s see what’s up with this film. It will be interesting to see whether he really does do this film. There’s that ‘Aish’ factor too, which is basically what this blind item is about. Both actors would not want the media to cook up some story about them. Also, this actor also said that he does not want to do these type of roles anymore. This superstar in question has been roped in for the next installment of a successful franchise. While he has almost signed on the dotted line, the superstar has one condition that has given the producer nightmares. Given that the superstar has no issues with the actor being a part of the film but he does not want any scenes together with him. The Khans are getting older but there isn’t any power shift. Ranbir does not have what it takes to be a megastar like SRK, Salman and Aamir. These men have top the charts from their very first film. TZH did very good business and so did Dangal and the movies weren’t laughed at either, they were progressive, with the actresses having very important roles and longer screen time.
There is no guarantee Ranbir’s next will collect 120 plus cr only on his name and nothing else. Unlike Salman’s next.
There has been a lot of talk about Dhoom 4 and Salman leading as the innocent villain. I don’t see y Abhishek and Uday needs to reprise their roles. They never catch the culprit and if you can replace the lead baddie than y not the lame cops? Either way I doubt I’d even give it a watch, the last with Aamir was too much crap and I never saw the one with the British Queen – Hrithik Roshan.
I quiet enjoyed the first one with John and Esha Deol.

I’d rather have UC in the franchise over AB. The role of Jai is too boring and is easier to drop. Just my two centa.

Didn’t Abhishek once say that if the characters of Jai and Ali are not there in Dhoom, the film won’t be made and the film is based on them..lol

Dhoom became Dhool because of this fool and his firang imports. Investigate him for trafficking and immigration fraud.
Of course they will let AB go. He ain’t no star. And it’s doubtful if UÇ will b bck too… Tht dude isn’t stepping out of his room ..(accordng to a blind)…no sure if he is ready to face camera again. But it’s a bore to see Sallu doing this role.
