As per the blind item that was released last month, it turned out to be true that Vinod Khanna was very sick. A close friend of his, a journalist, said that the family has kept everything very private since he was admitted to HN Reliance Hospital last month. But when that picture of him leaked, everyone was shocked at how thin and sick he looked. Before the picture leak, Rahul Khanna said his dad was admitted because of severe dehydration and that the doctors said he’s doing much better. Now, it’s been reported that he has been suffering from bladder cancer for years.

The most celebrated actor Vinod Khanna, was born on October 06, 1946 at Peshawar, now in Pakistan.

 

Hi son and daughter from his second marriage was there, as was his wife. His sons from his first marriage also reached his residence like all the other people. In fact, Akshaye Khanna came with his mother and stayed by her side. His brother, Rahul Khanna, came and stood his late father’s side. Rahul was always the jovial one, he managed to keep in touch with his dad and visited him often. Akshaye is a recluse and was known to be quite messed because of his dad. Growing up, he suffered a lot when his dad left his family to join that cult. Kids made fun of him, which is why he’s an introvert and recluse person.

Upon hearing the news of his demise, a lot of his friends and colleagues from Bollywood rushed to his place. Amitabh Bachchan was in the middle of an interview and when he heard, he just left everything and went to his place with his son, Abhishek.

Rishi Kapoor pointed out on his Twitter that Vinod Khanna died on the same date as his co-star in ‘Qurbani’, Feroze Khan.

The ‘Baahubali 2’ Hindi premiere was supposed to be tonight, but in respect to Vinod Khanna, Karan Johar decided to cancel the premiere. But KJo wasn’t at the funeral and neither was Irrfan Khan, who wanted to donate his organs to Vinod Khanna when he saw the leaked picture.

By the way, it’s not nice that photographers push to take pictures of the deceased’s face. They should be more respectful and keep their distance, unless the family requests them to take pictures. And that reporter shoving his mic in Abhishek Bachchan’s face is being annoying too.
