The first blind item for December comes from Rajeev Masand. It’s about the current controversy that has been in the news for over a month now. It’s not getting any better and it remains to be seen whether this controversy will have a happy ending for this movie or still stick to what it is now.
Honestly, it is really sad and pathetic that the authorities didn’t do anything. Well, can you really be surprised? When has this country ever stepped up to protect a woman’s honour? It’s only when something bad happens that you see the authorities finally waking up and trying to take control.
It’s nice of this senior actress to put her nose in this controversy and try to find a solution to it. Funny how she thought that this actress would support her in this initiative. For one, this rebellious actress doesn’t like the actress in this controversy and the rebellious actress has gone on national television and blasted this senior actress for threatening her when it came to her own controversy.
As for the other two leading ladies in this blind item, it’s really sad that they can’t put their pathetic emotions aside to support this campaign. It’s still not surprising since these two literally have ganged up against this actress for a long time. Well, here’s hoping that this campaign really does something to stop these political parties and their idiot chamchas from making serious threats in public. This whole thing has brought unwarranted attending from the Western Media. Like if it’s not enough that they laugh at how silly Indian movies are, now they are laughing at how silly Indian people are.

Guess Who Ducked the Petition
A senior female actor, a firebrand feminist, has reportedly led an initiative to reach out to the Prime Minister, objecting to the manner in which protestors threatened physical violence against the leading lady of a controversial Hindi film.
The veteran actress got a strongly worded letter drafted by a Supreme Court lawyer and sent it around to other top actors, asking them to sign and put their weight behind it. Apparently, several female stars have put their name to the letter—both senior actors, and current-day leading ladies. Only three are believed to have politely declined.
One, famously rebellious, asked not to be involved. Nobody was surprised, given that few have supported her in her own crises. The second, a top star, dithered and delayed, saying she needed to consult her lawyer, but didn’t get back in time. The third, apparently asked to be excused because she holds a foreign passport and did not want to get on the wrong side of the authorities. The inside joke is that she wouldn’t have supported the film’s leading lady anyway, given their own past history.
