You know what it is like when you have two extremely talkative people in front of you? That’s exactly how this director felt when he had to work with these two new-gen actors. They both like to talk so much that they don’t give time to the other to talk. If you see their interviews together, you will know what we are talking about. This is a big film for both of them, especially for her. It’s her first lead project after being off the screen to supposedly lose weight.
As for him, a couple of days back a promo picture from the sets was released and we were shocked at his appearance. Don’t know what it was about the way he looked that surprised us in that picture. Perhaps, you will be able to tell. This director, though, is not wrong in his observations. It’s hard to work with this new gen of actors, who are so used to working in commercial films that they don’t really know how to behave or act around the sets of an art film.
Can’t wait to see the trailer to know what the film is about. By the way, we have to mention how since the day she signed this film, this actress has been giving the best WTF statements that made us eye roll so hard!
It’s getting ridiculous the verbal diarrhea we are being subjected to these days. Don’t these people have a manager to stop them from blurting out things like this?

A certain top-rated indie film director—though these days everyone’s gone mainstream—was heard bitching out the two stars of his under-production film, to his friends while on a recent vacation. Though he was also critical of the film’s lead actress, it was the beefy male lead who came in for opprobrium. Very few acting chops and way too many opinions, was the director’s scathing verdict. Ouch!

He is doing Arjun Reddy ? I saw Arjun Reddy … native speaker of that language you see! The director in his interview said he wants Ranveer Singh for this movie in BW. But apparently Ranveer refused to play dark characters right now.
The original actor did an Superbly amazing job … I cannot even imagine Ranveer out doing him. But if it has to be done it has to be no one but Ranveer. This role requires lot of serious acting and getting into the character. I would say Vijay Devarakonda should get a national award for his performance in Arjun Reddy.
This role is for a extremely good actor but also young actor . My point is Arjun kapoor is okay actor… the results wont be the same.
Director Sandeep Vanga wanted Ranveer singh to play that part. When that didnt happen,he had approached shahid kapoor and had a detailed discussion regarding the role…Shahid had agreed to do the film… But I think the remake rights were sold to Boney Kapoor and he wanted Arjun Kapoor to star in it……. Sandeep has refused to direct Arjun Kapoor because his choice was refused.. He has said he will direct Arjun Kapoor only after he looses 20kgs weight….. I think Arjun is working on loosing his weight… Lets see how this turns out….
wow , did not know this bit of the story. I think Arjun is okay… but there is no way he could do Arjun Reddy to the level that Sandeep expects.I think Sandeep will be seeing a bad version of the same product in BW. Sandeep is in a tricky situation. Its better if he refuses to direct.
It’s the same as Arjun’s cousin Harshvardhan…. Harsh tells Vikramaditya Motwane how to shoot a film…. Let them first learn how to act instead of giving advice to experienced filmmakers how to shoot a film….. Both parineeti and arjun should work with SLB to get disciplined.. Maybe Deepu and RS can share their experiences…………………………..SLB expects absolute dedication on sets and no distractions what so ever…
Maybe that is one of the reasons he keeps hiring the same cast. A lot of actors cant match to that dedication. Ranveer-DP must have lot of patience. A lot of them find it difficult to work with SLB.
Yeah, SLB has a temper…. I think Aishwarya, priyanka, deepika, Ranveer suit his style of working… SLB has given these actors amazing films…
